Entertainment journalist & marketing executive, Nicole Narae, hosted a powerful gathering that combined music, art, and activism about gun violence in Miami,FL. The night shined a spotlight on the role of the music industry being a driving force for positive social change. The event honored four influential South Florida figures—Keith Wallace, Tone C., DJ Ben Hop, and Desiree Reavis— for their significant contributions to their community through the music and entertainment industry. These individuals have used their platforms in Miami not only to entertain but to inspire change, raise awareness, and promote positivity in the face of social challenges in the Music & Entertainment industry. The attendees of the Miami 20K event consisted of music executives & influencers, politicians, community leaders, and local music artists in Miami and surrounding areas. Nicole Narae showed immense fortitude to over 100 attendees: “This is just the beginning of having fun while impacting communities. I challenge everyone to be champions for building stronger, safer communities through the music industry—we have the most influential voices in the world.”
