Bloom WNC is a flower farm in Western North Carolina that grows and designs with specialty flowers. We grow specialty cut flowers for shareholders ( like a csa) and to design with for weddings, events, and workshops. Bloom WNC is a proud member of The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, The Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Program, and Western North Carolina Flower Farmers.
Unfortunately, we’re having to cancel the David Childers concert for tonight, July 19. With a high chance of thunder showers we didn’t want to risk it. David Childers has come for the last three years and we are sad to miss him tonight, but we will have a rescheduled date available soon.
We know how challenging it can be to get dinner on the table sometimes. That's why we offer three convenient pick up locations each week for our nourishing, locally sourced, chef-prepared take home dinners.
That way, you can just pre-order and then swing by on your way home from soccer practice, errands, work, or whatever else is keeping you busy these days! They come in ready to heat containers with instructions and every ingredient listed. Easy dinner night, dialed!

Wednesdays at in Woodfin
Thursdays at in Black Mountain

Self Serve Flower Stand update… please share.
We harvested our first crop of winter tulips this week, and we have thousands more coming on soon. We plan to stock the self serve flower stand on Thursday-Sunday while availability lasts and temperatures are above 35 degrees. Tulip bunches are $20 a bunch or 3 bunches for $50. Payments in cash in the wooden box attached to the table, or Venmo (bloom_wnc). Farm address is 806 North Fork Road. Pull into the gravel turnaround in front of the white shed.

Let’s give away some more tulips, but this time they are tulips to be picked up at our two specific locations that are new this year! The majority of our flower shares are for farm pick up in Black Mountain but we want to extend a little further from the farm and are very pleased to welcome two outstanding partners: Red Fiddle Vittles and Seeker Coffee. This is a tulip subscription with 6 bouquets picked up every two weeks starting January 16th

Hey there, everyone! Wanted to let you know that our next farm tour and cut your own bouquet is this Friday, the 4th of August from 6 to 730. It’s always such a sweet time to come out to the flower farm and look at what’s growing. And what a thrill to be handed a jar and clippers to forage the flower fields and cut your own flowers. Tickets are $35 and you can purchase them on my website, under the flowers tab. Send me a personal message if you need more details or the link. 
We eagerly await Craig Carothers to hit the stage at Bloom WNC on Friday, July 21st from 6 to 8. Back in my younger days my sister and I would find out where Craig was playing and go as often as we could. Originally from Portland, OR but now in Tennessee, Craig’s making the journey to our little slice of heaven in the Swannanoa Valley You don’t want to miss it.
His music is heartbreakingly beautiful and scathingly funny, delivered with a lively deadpan smile and a voice that’s downright swoony.

I am excited to share that after patiently waiting, and worrying, we now have winter tulips. And quite ALOT of tulips I might add. And just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Thank you for the support. It was fun to learn a new skill, especially since I was able to take care of these lovelies in my pajamas, with my cup of coffee in hand, and in the shelter of my basement. Just livin the flower farmer dream 😉

*Tulip Shares- buy a tulip share! Shareholders are welcome to the farm any Thursday to pick out their flowers. We will have early spring flowers coming in soon too. Shareholders receive flowers first before I open them up to the public.
*Special Occasion Arrangements-if you want to purchase a bunch of tulips in craft paper, or be a little fancier and purchase tulips in a handmade ceramic vase. Just go to my website and purchase. Delivery is available in the Black Mountain area. Link in my profile.
*VALENTINE’S DAY-purchase, tulips in craft paper or in a pot. Pick up will be at the farm on Monday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th. Pre-ordering guarantees flowers for your special someone.
