With all of this rain we have been receiving in Austin, we have really been thinking about the beautiful spring time flowers ahead. When I think of the spring, I think of our AMAZING wedding we designed last spring with THE most flowers.

Kim and Bob's Driskill Spring Easter wedding was a flower lover's spring come true!!! With their colorful easter tones and abundance of in-season flowers it was as if you were walking into their ceremony in the Maximilian room/ field of flowers. Their ceremony and reception had all of the amazing smells and stunning looks between the Driskill's delicious food and our luxurious flowers overflowing from the tables! When it comes to the best, exceeds it all with providing their clients/guest with the most elegant/ historical Texas venue in Texas, best downtown location, incredible food, accommodations, and last but not least their event/hospitality team. They go above and beyond for their clients and vendors which has landed them on our top preferred vendor list. We love working and know that every wedding or event will be stunning from the beginning to the end.

This is what I’m thankful for today and what made several of us cry today. A long lost photo Dave brought me today. Such happy tears flowed. A Vegas photo from a show at The Flamingo around 1987. I cannot believe how perfect it is. I LOVE everything about it, our 80’s sweaters, our jewelry, but most of all the sheer love and joy between us. I was very blessed with such a beautiful mom inside and out.

This is a brand new joyful experience for me. Our daughter is engaged! We’ve known and loved her very kind, loving fiancé Roy since high school theatre. Roy chose their annual Renaissance Faire visit, surrounded by friends to surprise Britney. I love all the happiness in the photos their friend, Anne sent to me.

Roy showed me the ring in September and I knew the laurel wreath was perfect for Britney who loves Greek and Roman history so much. She was wearing a laurel wreath yesterday and now has one to wear daily.

Let the wedding planning begin…I might have some connections. 😘💕🥰

Austin area wedding pros

Hi Austin friends! We have an office AND commercial kitchen space available for rent at our bakery on 620/Lake Creek!

The office is 8‘ x 13‘ with a window to the hallway, so it lets in really good light!  You are welcome to paint it and make it your own!  it’s a great spot for client meetings, a masseuse, storage, so many options! It rents for $575/month.

For the kitchen space, we rent hourly, monthly and long-term. We have quite a bit of table space and storage available, along with use of our convection ovens, gas range, 20 quart mixers, and refrigeration.

On behalf of everyone (who works, visits, or lives) in Margaritaville, we mourn the loss of Jimmy, a true national treasure, and express our heartfelt condolences to his family and everyone around the world who loves him.

Artist, performer, writer, navigator, friend, and entrepreneur - it is hard to imagine anyone who has ever brought so much fun to so many.

What Jimmy loved most was getting on a stage - big, small, indoors, outdoors, anywhere in the world - and changing the attitude and latitude of audiences to a vacation state of mind.

Jimmy lived his life like his songs: from beaches to boats to bars, sailing, surfing, and flying. He knew how to have fun and cared deeply about bringing everyone else along with him for the ride. When he flashed that signature smile one-on-one or to 100,000, somehow you just felt happy to be in his orbit.

His original idea for Margaritaville was to expand the opportunity for as many people to experience the lifestyle immortalized in his iconic song as possible.

We celebrate his life, believe his spirit lives on like a never-ending encore, and will see his radiant smile and that twinkle in his eye when we look towards the sun and will continue to share his way of life wherever, whenever we can.
