Jill and I had a show in Central Illinois yesterday. It was a Church that was a repeat client. We loved doing this show because the choir was stunning. This was a festival during which we felt some crazy love from this congregation.
I did an additional close-up show in addition to my Stand-up comedy magic show. The reactions were fantastic as well. Jill and I noticed the adults were heavily involved and excited with my performance. I have purposely designed my show to be a Family Magic Show, this especially made sense today. We thank The Morning Glory Church for showing us incredible love!

It’s no secret that I have been promoting “Celebrating 50 Years of Magic”. My Bookings have increased dramatically. But I’m always looking for my next gig. I had an opportunity to perform on a local TV show this morning. I have been practicing like crazy so I was delighted to get some air time.
Living Local is a top-rated show in the Quad Cities. I was honored when they confirmed it. I wanted to do some fun visual magic. After looking at the tape, I think that I succeeded.
This is my performance from early this morning. Thanks to the crew at Living Local, they were fantastic!

I have been very blessed. FFFF 2024 was an incredible experience. This by-invitation-only Magic Convention hosts 250 of the finest close-up magicians worldwide—the 51st year of this event, which I have attended 21. times.
Last year I was in a lot of pain, but I chose to go anyway. This year was a much better experience. My Magical friends from 17 countries attended this cherished gathering. Performances, Lectures, and Shows filled this weekend. It was a very busy weekend. My Favorite show was the Korean Gala on Friday night. The skill and talent of this group was amazing. It's great to see all my FFFF Family! Thanks to Joan & Glenn and the FFFF staff for an incredible week of magic.

We have been working hard on the concept of our kitchen. The Yeager’s Playing Card Kitchen reflects our love of Playing Cards. Magicians generally have hundreds of decks of Playing Cards. I needed a way to display the decks We realized that using Ikea ledges for the cards allowed us to update the wall with new decks. Jill & I are happy with how it came out.

It’s no secret that I have been sluggish the last month. Reading Magic Books sitting up or lying down, and even more weird practicing with a deck of cards. I’m proud to say that I needed physical activity. We set up my practice table, and I’ve never been happier.

I was running through the sleight-of-hand routines that I’ve learned over the last 50 years.

I have also finally learned a new phenomenal routine, that blows my mind. The effect is stunning. I hope to be sharing with you!

I want to thank everyone for all the great words of encouragement. If ever in my life I’ve needed it now more than ever! Also Thanks to Dr. Jill for her caring to keep me alive, with her expert care.

It’s no secret that with all the fanfare that I am trying to generate with my “ Celebrating 50 Years of Magic,” I want and need to perform. This is essential to my physical and mental health.
I had a very special show last night in Chicago. Canon Imaging from Australia hired me to entertain their prospective clients. This was at a fabulous restaurant called “ Quartino Ristorante on State Street. My start time was 6:30 PM so with Chicago traffic, I had to leave at noon. If I were to wait any longer, it would create another hour on my drive with rush hour traffic.
It was a gorgeous drive and gave me time to collect my thoughts, on what to perform. Showtime……I had a short meeting with the client and their sales team. We discussed the objective of this dinner. I created a custom-tailored effect for this group. Mike Rogers, a famous trade show magician, used a basic card trick to sell the product. Since the message was imaging, I used his genius idea to use the Mental Photography Deck. This is a blank deck of cards that print themselves, Perfect to discuss Imaging. The client also used my suggestion to let me do a short show for the entire group at the end of the social hour. “ This is my special way of Thanking them for the show. The final show went crazy well, and everyone had a great time. Left Chicago at 8:00 PM and got home at 11:00 PM. I was elated that the show went well and exhausted at the same time. Now I just smile and think about what Jay Marshall told me decades ago “You are unemployed after every show”

Magifest 2023 was a weekend of incredible magic. Lance Burton autographed and personalized every poster for over three and a half hours!
I also received this fantastic Lance Burton program, which he also signed. Yes, the photo to the right is Lance and I at Joe Steven's Desert Seminar 1987 at the Tropicana casino backstage.
