Ron & Kellys winter wedding was nothing short of incredible...from the super sweet venue, City View Loft, to the even sweeter view of the skyline at night! One of the many perks of this job is that I know many of my couples prior to DJing their wedding, so it gives me that obligation to really create the perfect night for them...not just as hired help, but as a friend.

On our final planning call meeting, I asked the couple if there was a videographer I would be working alongside with. They said no, they wished they budgeted for one, but a friend who will be a guest will film everything. Granted that was an extremely kind gesture, I know its a juggle to capture everything and still truly enjoy your time, so I offered to have someone on my team do our best to fully capture the day. Now I know I can never replicate a trained videographers quality, but I'm dang proud of how this one came out, and most importantly, they were too. I have a newfound respect for videographers editing multiple videos a week 😵‍💫I clipped out the ceremony & toasts because it was a 25 minute video! So here's the 7min. shortened version, enjoy!!!

Duel-effort this weekend, as I partnered with Rolling Sounds Entertainment to put on 3 amazing shows this past Saturday. We battled all the elements…scorching sun, high winds, followed by a torrential downpour! ☀️ 💨 🌧️ (even one wedding being outside, sorry Mike! Lol) But my team can ALWAYS persevere!

10 years ago I was looking for DJ work on Craigslist, trying to desperately sell myself to anyone that would hire me. Fast forward to accomplishing 9 weddings in 1 weekend. I didn’t even have that many weddings the first YEAR I started! Branching out can be a daunting move, but I know my team can deliver that same “wow factor” that has gotten myself this far. After 10 years, it takes a lot to impress me in this business, but each member on this team has unique qualities that even I admire, and I really mean that. Self-taught skills like mixing and MCing, or even innate ones like charisma & drive. These guys possess it all. I’ve always joked about cloning myself…but where’s the fun in that? What we have is variety, and thats way better! You don’t need to “be the best” at what you do, you just have to “do your best”… that’s what an audience will really love and appreciate…
