Food and fashion go hand in hand we made that very clear at the 5th Ave Club Palo Alto Rosewood Sand Hill. The collaboration was a special one and huge SUCCESS! The boutique was filled with amazing people having productive conversations, high end fashion on display, and delicious food to stimulate your mind. I can’t wait to do it again!

• Slow braised brisket on top of black eyed pea succotash and tangy smoked turkey collards
• Kale salad with black mission figs, cucamelons, and toasted almonds
• Butternut squash soup finished with brown butter, crème fraiche , and chives
• Stuffed mushrooms (gluten free) breadcrumbs
• Flourless chocolate cake, raspberry coulis, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla caramel swirl gelato

1. Fresh eastern oysters & Fresh water prawns with Mango salsa
2. Little gem salad; sous vide peaches and burrata
3. Roasted garlic mashed potatoes, Grilled filet w/ wine reduction, Buttery lobster w/ fresh basil pesto. Summer veggies.

Gotta give it up one time for my guy for co-producing such a beautiful and monumental documentary about what the youth of New Orleans experienced going through hurricane Katrina called “Katrina Babies.”

As so many of the kids in the film said, “nobody asked me how I felt about it,” this story is so important to be told from the lenses of them!
E’Jaaz, you continue to impress me ever since we met at Stanford last year. Your passion for journalism, story telling, and love for cooking is what brought our like minds together, and you bring so much good energy to every cooking class.
I can’t wait for the rest of the world to witness your brilliant work on in August! Thank you for inviting me to the private screening! 🙌🏾
