We’re excited to present the debut record “Slow Motion Autopsy” by Boise’s very own industrial duo, Bricklayer! Link to hear the record in bio.

“Slow Motion Autopsy” is a fascinating, dark and gripping conceptual journey through the mind of a killer explored with bleak industrial soundscapes akin to that of Godflesh, Pitch-Shifter and Nine Inch Nails.

The band was formed in 1990 after hearing Godflesh’s “Street Cleaner” and Pitch-Shifter’s “Industrial.” A cassette called “Finding God” and a 7” single. Bricklayer disbanded only to reform with original singer/guitar player/programmer Andy A. with the addition of Debi A. on bass.

Andy A. has been a force and backbone in the Boise music scene with his recording studio, The Chop Shop where he has produced and recorded dozens of great albums. Bricklayer is the project where we get to see his creative genius front and center.

We’re pleased to present to you singles “Creech” and “Iceburn” from the forthcoming record “Slow Motion Autopsy” by Boise industrial duo Bricklayer. Along with these two singles that are available today on streaming platforms, Bricklayer with be playing the record today at Slaughterfest (at the Shredder) where you can pick up an exclusive, limited-edition (of 25) “brick” tape to hear the record in full before it drops officially on August 23rd. They are slated to perform at 3pm. Don’t miss it! For now, the tape will only be available in-person.

Onsetter at a point in their adulthood where they need “an outlet for negative emotions.” As past collaborators and friends they are all on the same page about the state of the world and life in America so they use this record as a vehicle to express their anger towards the ills of man and their own.

With notable contributors from Throes, Blackcloud, and Ranges, Onsetter’s premiere seamlessly intertwines elements of formidable aggression and sustained intensity.
