One of my favorite photos from Nicki & Matt's sunrise wedding taken by my sweet friend and colleague Alicia aka . I have done SO many weddings with her and even traveled to the Big Island together. She is one of the most loving and thoughtful people you will ever meet. And she also has a way to get people to let loose and do daring things to get the most amazing images! She really does capture the experience in a epic way. Not only are the images gorgeous but if you take the time to read her posts you will find depth, eloquence and the soul of a true artist doing what God put her here to do. Alicia and her hubby are moving to Alaska and it's SO bittersweet. I'm excited about their next chapter and their living their dream but I munna miss them big time. Miss A, I look forward to seeing your adventures in AK - please don't feed the bears and take so much aloha with you.

Seriously good times at Kelsey & Glenn's Ironwoods wedding. Some BTS: Glenn's Dad blew the conch shell for the ceremony making it all the more special. There is a large flat topped rock on the beach that was uncovered by recent storms. We did the ceremony there and I managed to stand at the edge and not fall off. 😅 Apologies to the guests who might have been worried about that! As you can see in this pic - we really had a good time and the love between Kelsey & Glenn was so palpable. I have the best job ever! Thanks to .photo for always coming through with the awesome photos!

My first wedding of the year was at Waiʻānapanapa State Park in Hana. I rarely do weddings Hana side but Rudy and Rafael had me at aloha during our first phone call. And so it was my honor to create a ceremony just for them. 🌊🌴 In the warmth of the morning of the Hawaiian sun, with Lahela softly playing ukulele, they exchanged not just rings but the deepest promises of love. 💍💞

In a moment of pure aloha, they presented their parents with leis—a gesture of gratitude, love, and connection that brought tears to every eye. 🌸🤍

Here’s to Rudy & Rafael and their new chapter of aloha! 🌈💫

Hi, I’m Julienne—most people call me Jules.
I performed my first wedding in college over 25 years ago - I think it's getting close to 30 years ago - yikes!
This year marks a decade of living on Maui, and I’m endlessly grateful for this island and community. It will take a lifetime to give back and I won't stop trying.
I adore what I do and feel so blessed to do it here, in one of the most magical places on Earth.

Favorite drink: a Puerto Rican Cafecito
My ride: Toyota Corolla iM that is an unfortunate shade of fluorescent yellow-green 🙃

Outdoors kine stuff: Outrigger canoeing and snorkeling. I also like a nice forest stroll but I wouldn't call it hiking.
