If the little girl who used to prance around her house with a nutcracker, pretending to be Clara could design a table for a contest at the @cjcevents Western New England Bridal Show, this was definitely it!
I wanted to showcase all the fun you can have with Wood flowers with this whimsical table idea. So maybe it’s not what most couples would envision at their winter wedding, but I’m not gonna lie I would love a sugary sweet themed winter wedding. Just imagine how good the candy bar and desserts would be!! I didn’t win the contest, but I think it was a win for myself. Just having a chance to be creative and do something I would normally never get asked to do is such an important part of continuing to grow as a floral designer. This is making me want to decorate and do flowers some Holiday parties, themed birthdays, store holiday decor and more!

Such a fun night at the Tolland Trail of Treats. Threw together this fun little witch hat too! Wood flowers, pieces of my daughter’s costume I trimmed off, velvety black greenery plus a Skelton hand. I only wish I’d remembered to the s pic of the set up all lit up at night but you can catch it briefly when my mini witch stole my phone 😂
