Hi Everyone! Our summer hiatus has ended and we are in the process of getting everything up and running again. We now invite you all to give us calls and send messages to schedule Fall senior and family sessions. We also welcome coaches to call in and set up photo sessions for your Fall middle, high school, travel and Rec teams.

We are excited to soon celebrate SKP's 12th anniversary. We could not have done it without the confidence and recommendations of those who have used our services. We sincerely thank you all!

DO YOU FOLLOW OUR COMMUNITY PAGE?

If you like the idea of knowing about special events going on in our community without having to w**d through other 'Chatsworth' sites that also discusses lots of non-event topics, then be sure to follow Murray County / Chatsworth Georgia Community Events. We started this page waaay back in '14 after often hearing people say there was 'nothing to do' in Murray County. Turns out that Murray County actually has something going on somewhere quite often, and the page makes it easy to find all of those 'somethings' in one place!
Every year we include FOUR COMPREHENSIVE LISTS THAT COVER THE FOLLOWING: VBS LOCATIONS, HALLOWEEN/HARVEST EVENTS, THE COMPLETE LIST OF TRUNK OR TREAT/TRICK-OR-TREAT LOCATIONS and THE LIST OF CHRISTMAS EVENTS.
We do not charge money to provide this information, but you will see a donate button on there. On the off chance that we ever do get a donation (It's been on there several years, but we've never got one as of yet.) any money collected will go to the Murray/Whitfield Historical Society.
So please hop on over there and start following if you have not done so already. And if you ever know of an event at your church, business, etc to which the public is invited, feel free to let us know. We host and manage the page, but it's really a bunch of community members working together to bring me the information that keeps the page at it's optimum!

Tentative Summer Photography Workshop For Teens/Tweens

Date July 13
Hours: 12 PM to 4 PM
Location: To Be Decided

Do you have a teen/tween between the ages 10-17 who is interested in photography? Perhaps they are thinking of making photography a career, using it as a 'side gig', or, if younger, maybe they are interested in taking photos for the yearbook at high school or becoming the official family photographer.

In this class, Scott will introduce young users to his assortment of Canon Cameras. They will learn about camera settings, use of flash and external lighting, will have practice sessions where they take turns being the photographer as well as the subject, and more.

Those with a family member who already owns a Canon are encouraged to borrow it for the day, as it will give them more hands on practice as the lesson progresses. Others might consider renting a camera (a short list of rental services will be provided to registered learners upon request), however, all participants will get some hands on experience with Scott's cameras and having one for yourself is not required to be a participant. Parents are encouraged to attend with their teen/tween!

Cost: $100.

If you coach a middle or high school team and have never tried us before, we'd love to send you a sample packet so you can see the quality you'd enjoy by booking with SKP, as well as a special gift for giving us a chance (contact us for more info!). UPCOMING CLOSURE BEGINNING JUNE 1

Scott and I have decided to closed shop from June 1 to July 15 again this year! We wanted you all to be aware of some things surrounding these dates:

1. We will be spending the rest of May wrapping things up. If you have requested anything from us and we have not yet fulfilled your request, please send a friendly reminder at this time. We 'think' we've taken care of everyone, be we're human and know we may have missed something!

2. If you have submitted slide or vhs conversions to us, we will be working on them during the photography break.

3. We will continue to fulfill photo requests that are needed for a memorial service, and we will continue to work with all sports coaches, clubs, band leaders, etc. as you are planning photos/building programs for the Fall sports season. Please leave a message and your call will be returned.

4. As promised, senior parents who have an interest in attending the late July brunch to learn more about all of our senior photo options for the class of 2025 will begin receiving communications in June. (If you want to be added to the list, message this page and include your text number and email).

5. Those who have expressed interest in attending the July Teen and Tween photography workshop will also continue to receive communication.

6. Requests for custom cutting boards and photo sports balls will continue to be accepted. Think Father's Day!

We are watching the weather and will let those who have booked know of any weather related rescheduling by 6 pm tomorrow for Friday's, sessions and by 6 pm Saturday for Saturday's sessions.

These images will be available via digital download for sizes up to 8x10. You may walk away with this deal or request prints or graduation invitations from SKP as part of a package.

These sessions are limited. $10.00 deposit or full payment due at time of reservation.

Scott is in Waco Tx awaiting Monday’s Eclipse. This places him in the path of totality and if the weather cooperates, he will get some pretty amazing images to add to his 2017 total eclipse collection. The photos are a priority, however, the goal is to produce a high quality live feed as well. Please go to Facebook.com/agskuhn tomorrow
starting around 2:20 pm edt to join him during the live event. He was also interviewed by Local 3 News about eclipses and they will be showing this clip during several broadcasts tomorrow. You can view local 3’s news online during their regular broadcast hours by going to local3news.com. As you might imagine the hotels along the path multiplied their rates several times over for this event. For this reason we ask that you share the live feed as well as consider purchasing prints of any of the photos you enjoy, as both will help to recover some of the trip associated expenses that have been incurred. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR SUMMER PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES!
Scott Kuhn Photography reintroduces summer photography classes for 2024. Here are the classes that will be offered:
Pre-teen/Teen Photography: For ages 8-17 who have an interest in learning about photography.
Introduction to Photography: If you’ve toyed with the idea of making money with photography, or you’ve simply been gifted with or have recently purchased a nice camera with lots of different settings and would like to better understand it’s operation, this class is for you.
Enhancing the Experienced: The class is for those who already have some camera familiarity or are already active in their own photography business and would like extra help from a certified professional to propel them to the next level. Camera settings, lenses, external lighting, marketing, vendor references and more will be covered.

Adult/Experienced Classes will begin in June, with each one taking place one night a week for a total of 4 weeks, 2 hours each night. ONLINE ORDERS: This option allows you to pick and choose the photos for your package. Once your order is placed, it is mailed directly to your home, unsually within 2 days.
