It’s definitely a work in progress and a huge mess,🤪 but we got Big Red (the laser) moved over to the new studio today!!! I got her all hooked up and she’s running good! I was such a nervous wreck getting her moved over! Phew!! 😮‍💨 Now to finish getting this studio put together-ish so I can get back to work!!! ❤️🎨

Our Story

Welcome to Cracked Ginger! We are a home-based paint party and gift boutique that loves having the opportunity to teach groups of people (no experience necessary) how to create beautiful, fun decor for their home, while also providing completed hand-painted decor to those who may be more into buying than DIYing! Proudly serving San Angelo, Texas and surrounding areas and shipping all over the world! You can find ready to go products and gifts at Olive’s Nursery located at 3402 Sherwood Way.

Cracked Ginger is owned and operated by me, Meghan Lunsford, but it is definitely a family effort. With help from my awesome husband, Donnie, my oldest child Kaydance, who is quite the artist herself, my middle-oldest RC and only kiddo that got my red hair, middle-youngest Dani, who is a little firecracker, and the baby of the family Dylan, who’s really the boss of us all.

I have been crafting for business since 2006. I started out making boutique hair bows for my oldest. We had our first ever vendor market in 2013 back when we made shirts, baby onesies and crib bumpers. I then started repurposing furniture and making signs and found a whole new love in paints and creating that way! I had our first paint party in January 2019 when a sweet friend that had a shop here in town pushed me to have a paint party in her shop (Thanks, Jaton!)!!! And like they say… the rest is history! I now draw and design about 95% of our paint projects, so you truly have an original design and fun experience!

We still make tees and fun gifts, but have also added in other boutique brands and designers. We also offer DIY paint kits, finished door hangers and decor. We have a gift booth set up inside Olive’s Nursery! Our paint parties are now hosted all over town in business establishments, restaurants and homes (we’re mobile!) and even virtually! Cracked Ginger likes to provide a relaxing atmosphere with fun and humor mixed in while creating a beautiful piece of home decor to proudly display on your front door or in your home! We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, whether it be while you are part of a paint party, shopping our vendor events, browsing online, painting DIY kits, or joining our NEW Door Hanger of the Month Club!!! We look forward to serving you!
