Tara was an absolute gem to work with for my NYC
wedding! I live out of state, and it was so amazing to
have someone local who knew the industry and
reputable vendors. I have a million and one things I
could say about Tara (all good things!!), but l'Il try to
summarize the key parts below! TLDR: Tara was
amazing to work with and you should book her asap!! I know people always give the advice to brides "there will likely be details that go wrong on your wedding day but
try to stay present and enjoy your day regardless". Well thanks to Tara and her team I can confidently say that everything was perfect on our wedding day. Not one
thing went wrong (or if it did, I'm still blissfully unaware) and I wouldn't change a single detail about the day. I am not exaggerating when I say everything went exactly as
I planned and was executed flawlessly.

She did such a good job that all I did the week of my wedding was have fun with
my family and friends and I didn't think about one logistical thing! Tara is such a wonderful and helpful person that truly made my husband and I feel so special throughout the wedding planning process. She was
attentive, prompt, organized, and one of the most genuine and nicest people I've ever met. After just our first meeting with her I knew she was going to be amazing as our planner as she had such a strong confidence about her. I have repeatedly said thereafter, that because we have Tara as a planner even if a
problem arises throughout the wedding process, I fully trust her to either take care of it or present a solution tome. This kind of support was such a stress reliever and
critical in making the planning process enjoyable. I've also repeatedly heard from friends and family how lovely and helpful Tara was the day of our wedding. So helpful that she even personally sewed a rip a family member tore in their pants while on the dance floor!

Mimi stopped herself (and me) from crying during the ceremony by whispering “lobster ravioli”- the appetizer she kept dreaming of since her tasting. 🤣 Of course I had to make sure she got some to enjoy after the wedding! 😉

I am sure you have heard that this year is the busiest wedding season in decades. This is great- under normal circumstances. The world is upside down. Venues are understaffed. Supplies are lacking. Some vendors are taking on too much work and spreading themselves thin. This has been a challenge for even an experience seasoned planner like myself. It is taking twice, sometimes three times the amount of work to plan a wedding than it has previously. What used to take one call, meeting, or email- now takes weeks. I have to stay on top of everyone and everything more than usual. There has been issues and challenges I have never seen before. I can’t even think about the way some weddings would of turned out like if we weren’t there.

Maybe I’ll share my “scary stories” of my wedding career (with 2022 being most of the chapters) one day, but the purpose of this post is not to scare anyone. It’s to show that just like this review mentions- we always provide a calming presence to all clients, even in the most stressful of situations. The goal is not to alarm and alert you of each thing we have to fix;
just deliver the result!

This weekend's weather has us thinking about clever ways to beat the heat this season. couple Sara & Mitch had an ingeniously sweet idea for their summer nuptials at "When we lived in the West Village, we discovered Van Leeuwans and it became one of our favorite places." They had an ice cream truck roll up and serve guests frosty treats all night long. "It seemed like the perfect ending to our non-traditional wedding."🍦🌸💕
