2022 BUSINESS SUMMIT SCHEDULED FOR MAY

The Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) of Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) will be hosting their annual Business Summit Event in-person this year on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. The focus of this year’s Summit is PEOPLE FIRST: Everyone Wins, which will focus on leadership development, team building, and creating an empowering workplace culture.
This event will be hosted at Twin Lakes Resort on Tackett Lane in Piketon. Guest Speakers will share information and resources regarding the topics for the day’s sessions:
• LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
• CREATING YOUR CULTURE
• TEAM BUILDING
• MASTERING THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

There is $15 fee per person to attend this event. The event will begin at 8:30 am with a networking breakfast session provided by the Business Resource Network (BRN) Program and catered lunch will also be provided to attendees. Today Twin Lakes hosted a training seminar. We had Sales and Marketing with Angel Glass, Bartending with Erin Lansing, Law Enforcement with Sheriff Tracy Evans and K-9 officer Joey Taylor and food preparation and cooking with Brooke Greene. Our hope our to give our community a place to start with finding employment. Thank you to our attendee’s for participating and to the instructors who graciously volunteered their time.
