Reading a book for creatives called . Original quote says “work is love made visible”, which is so true. I decided to make it more personal and write “Art is love made visible” when I create art it’s coming from a well of love that God has put in me.
Been working on some books , one of them I just love so much. I’m honored to do it, especially since my background is in working with children with autism. I’m not done but I did get the cover done so the author can promote it.
I highly recommend this book. As a creative and believer in Christ, this book not only reaffirmed my thoughts as an artist, but opened my eyes to more of Trinity in creating. Whether you’re an artist, writer, musician, dancer, etc. this book is a simple easy read, but big in how you will move forward in creating.

In Christianity, it is our creative people that keep a finger on the pulse of the spirit.

Last week the concierge of reached out and asked if I could do my sunset painting lessons for a family that’s was coming to stay. Of course I said yes! This was the sweetest family I’ve taught . The parents never painted ever! They did such a great job!

Last night was so sweet. I had a paintparty meet up at . While I was teaching this lovely couple, this little girl came up and whispered in my ear, can I sit and watch you. Of course I said to that adorable sweet face. So she sat and watched for a bit. Then her Papa called her back. I was finishing up the lesson, when she came to tell me he Papa said they have to leave. I told her can she wait 5 minutes? She did. As I signed my name I then turned to her and gave her my painting. She was so thankful, she told me my painting was beautiful, and me and my guests were beautiful. She was the sweetest! My guests were awesome.

Today as I visited my husband in the hospital we prayed and gave God all praise and honor with a heart of thanksgiving.
I asked my husband name 1 thing your grateful for .
He said “I’m Thankful for being alive! “ scripture to match Psalms 68:19 blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens. The God who is our salvation!.
I don’t know if I shared with you all, but 9/11 my husband had a massive hemorrhagic stroke. My focus has been mostly on him, our 17 year old and keeping my paint party business afloat. So I apologize for not posting as much as I should. But I decided as we name what we are thankful for I will find a scripture to match it and create a doodle. Almost a month ago my husband had a massive stroke. Although my business continues, I haven’t really posted much.
I’m so grateful for my family the flew out to support me and all my new Ohana here on Oahu. I have an awesome team that have been working for me so I can focus on my husband and family. The community that has surrounded us with prayers, visits, groceries, food at our fave Cafe, homemade meals, the list goes on! I’m slowly coming back to posting and creating again as my husband is recovering. I am told it will be a long recovery, BUT my faith is stirred so much that God will do a good work in Jay that it will blow the doctors away at his full recovery. I have come to realize that insurance is not going to cover everything and disability might take awhile, so my kids and I created the campaign on to help cover expenses and needs. I am so blown an humbled by the amazing support we have received and truly the Aloha for Jay J makes me so grateful. When I first started my mobile paint party business in California I started with just the necessities no fancy easels or microphones. I’m so blessed and grateful for Jesus’s blessings during this season with my husband. This morning I got a call from one of my children’s book authors I illustrate for. He said to look up the book we recently finished on Barnes and Noble. He said I will be very happy. So I did! And what do I see on the @barnesandnoble site? The book with the author name and my name next to it listed as the illustrator! This book is a beautiful book, with a beautiful moral. When it comes to illustrating for other people, I’m pretty picky. So after I read the story I said Yes!! The great thing about this opportunity is I get 5% royalties! So when people buy this book they not only support the author but me too! What can you do to help me? Buy the book, share it with your friends and family to buy too! Just sitting and reflecting how blessed I am. 2 years ago I lost my job due to unlawful mandates, so I took a leap of faith into full time art. A friend from @oakpineco sent out a notice that the Marriott was looking for vendors for a market. Well, I hurried up and sent my info for the market. The vendor coordinator looked at my website and asked if I’d be interested in paint parties there instead. I had no idea how quickly my class would be popular or in demand. We went from 10 to 24 painters max quickly. This is the very spot I started to classes at too. I knew art was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and to have the opportunity to provide for my family. Especially now that my husband has been in nursing homes from his stroke 3 months ago. God knew what he was doing and putting into place 2 years ago. There’s always a bigger picture, a purpose, a plan. We might not always see it, know it, or understand it. Trusting God is not always easy, because we want to be in control. Honestly I know His ways are far better than mine, and he’s always been a good Father. So good, that He gave us His son Jesus, a gift to us. We can call him our mighty counselor, our everlasting Father, our Prince of peace! When we give him everything we are holding so tightly to, to Jesus in return we recieve peace, hope, faith, and the Love God has always wanted us to recieve. If you’re reading this and thinking I got it together, well I don’t. I share this because I don’t, but in this all I lay it at Jesus’s feet, knowing that with him I can only have it together.
