It’s wedding day!
Elopement and portrait photographer
https://arinhayleyphotography.pixieset.com/booking/ Above all, my focus is on family.

My passion is and has always been capturing images that are full of life and the love that families, individuals, and couples share during intimate moments, whether they’re getting married or just enjoying a Thursday afternoon. My goal is that every photograph and film I share with my clients glows with love, honesty, and beauty that takes them back to that moment to relive and rekindle the experi
ence over and over again, year after year. I’m a southern girl at heart and can’t go a day without sweet tea—and that comes through in my photographs and films that drip with the sweet Southern charm my life and family has been steeped in. You’ll know, the first time you meet me, I like to take things slow and thoughtfully, whether it’s how I pronounce my words or how film and photograph. I strive to help my clients slow down, take in the scene the way it was meant to be experienced, and live in the moment. I shoot both photography and video because it allows me to do what I do best—take full advantage of reality.
It’s wedding day!
What a neat story!
A Jewish family named Karnofsky, who immigrated from Lithuania to the United States, took pity on the 7-year-old boy and brought him to their home.
There he stayed and spent the night in this Jewish family home, where for the first time in his life he was treated with kindness and tenderness.
When he went to bed, Mrs. Karnofski sang him Russian lullabies, which he sang with her.
Later he learned to sing and play several Russian and Jewish songs.
Over time, this boy became the adopted son of this family.
Mr. Karnofsky gave him money to buy his first musical instrument, as was the custom in Jewish families.
Later, when he became a professional musician and composer, he used these Jewish melodies in compositions such as St. James's Hospital and Go Down Moses.
The little boy grew up and wrote a book about this Jewish family, who adopted him in 1907.
In memory of this family and until the end of his life, he wore the Star of David and said that in this family he learned "how to live a real life and self-determination."
This little boy's name was Louis Armstrong. This little boy was called Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. Louis Armstrong proudly spoke fluent Yiddish and “Satchmo” is Yiddish for “big cheeks, a nickname some say was given to him by Mrs. Karnofsky!
Now you know rest of the story!

because Hazel deserves a post ALL by herself!
I have enjoyed documenting Hazel's milestones. Even though she decided to come a little early and I missed her birth, the rest of her year has been filled with this preciousness!
If you are considering a milestone and birth package, reach out. These are some of my favorite events to capture! Looking forward to this year already!!!
There’s has been lots of interest in those that want to use this gown for Mom and Me sessions. I am setting up a link for sign up in the comments below. Because I have to reserve and rent this dress, I will need to collect the full session fee at the time of booking. If there is enough interest (comment below with “me”, I will then put the dates in stone depending on the availability of the dress (hopefully May 21-27). And of course, this is just such a beautiful dress and you don’t have a “mini me”, you are still welcome to come feel pretty for the day!
Let’s talk about how the weather can impact a picture and a shoot. I’ve had to encounter this a lot lately because of the crazy high winds we have had for the past month. I have to take into account the direction of the wind and weather I can go ahead with the shoot or not. Another enemy of spring sessions is RAIN! Not only do we have to reschedule rainy day session, we have to change locations because of the water left behind. I thought about how I am going to have to navigate this week with 2 days of high chances of severe storms and I have rented a dress from so the dates can’t be changed.
But the wind can be an ally when you are working with amazing dresses like this (another gown).
So just because the weather doesn’t cooperate for your session, go ahead and wing it because honestly, that is the reality of life here in the South.
This week only, my wildflower field will be at its peek. Because of the small size, I’m offering it for only $15 per hour. A link for scheduling is in the comments below.
And if you’re looking for a Mini session for me, I will post the link to schedule the comments below.
In love with these maternity images that I captured for Rachel Bednar Chambers.
Some of my favorite images to capture are of Mommas and their babies. I understand the importance of having these images because the truth is, us Mommas are almost always the photographer.
So throughout the month of May, I am honoring Mommas and offering “Mom and Me Minis” .
These sessions are great for grandmothers too!

1 Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
4 And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.
5 But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. (Matthew 28:1, ESV)

15 years of capturing love stories never gets old. I’ve lost count of the number of wedding and couples I have photographed but I do remember them all. But today, I delivered a wedding gallery with the wrong groom’s name. But I did get the “J” part right. Jonathan and Joseph are close?! In my defense, I am the micro wedding photographer for @faulknerlakeorchard and I typically don’t meet the bride and groom until the day of the wedding. One time in 15 years isn’t too bad of a record.
Now that the holidays are officially over, it is usually down time for outdoor photographers. Because let’s face it, this weather is not ideal for portraits. Instead of working on my website like I usually do every year, I have decided to offer studio heirloom sessions. I am renting a studio space for a few days so these sessions will be limited. January 20th,21st, 22nd, February 3rd, 4th, and 5th. https://arinhayleyphotography.pixieset.com/booking/vignetted-heirloom-portraits
Lexi and Alex had such a sweet and beautiful wedding pulled together by the amazing ladies at Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center, Farmers Market (aka my sweet church family Grace Baptist). No matter the obstacles and challenges, they can make your wedding everything you have ever dreamed of!
Starting to roll out my Vintage Bronco Christmas Mini sessions! Shout out to Mike and Char Sullivan for allowing me to not only use their vintage Bronco but for also allowing me to invade their yard for the day. It was a perfect set up!
Had no idea that it was going to be raining this morning but yesterday’s sunshine made for an amazing session!

When you book a session or wedding with me, I do a little happy dance! It keeps my business going. So let’s talk about my small business. I live in a community where small businesses are trying to survive. I do my best to support my local friends. As a farmer’s wife, that’s what we should do to help each other out. Think about that before you go outside the community or before long, there won’t be a community to support your business.
October is fast approaching and time is running out to schedule your fall pictures. We are predicted to have fall foliage until early November but keep in mind, rain will come along with that so days start to become limited for scheduling a session. My Saturdays in October are booking up fast. And don’t forget to take advantage of my October special of micro sessions all month long. I will be booking Christmas minis the first weekend in November only. Here is my scheduling link https://calendly.com/leanne44/microsessions
Field of dreams! That’s what my sunflower field has been this summer. Fields planted with seasonal blooms can help to capture a moment in our life. Throughout the month of October, I would love to offer micro sessions. These sessions can be offered anytime during the month of October. 30 minutes, 5 images (with the option to purchase more)one location, and any type of session ( except bridals). Most sessions will be in a woodsy location with the exception of a couple of cotton field days. If you are interested in using one of the micro sessions, please schedule through the link in my bio. Session fee is due upon scheduling.
