PAWS needs your help. Some tiny kittens were dropped off last night in our dog house. They were not secure where they were left by these two vehicles. PAWS wants to know how many kittens there were (we only found 2) and where is their mom as they need her immediately. Please call or private message PAWS with any information. 812-577-0829

BIG TRUCKS, BACKHOES, FIRETRUCKS AND OTHER BIG EQUIPMENT!
Plan on spending June 15th at the "Hard Hat Hangout". Held at the Aurora Lions and City parking lots where Main Street Aurora & Aurora Utilities will host a "Touch and Visit Day!"

Aurora Utilities, Aurora Fire Department, Paul Rohe, Pat McGraw, Woody Bucher, Aurora Lions Club, Bill Yelton and Clint Siekman will have equipment on display for kids and adult kids, to look at up close and experience first hand! Sit in the drivers seat and get the feel of a big rig, as drivers and operators will answer questions about their jobs! Great time for a "selfie" to send to friends and family

Today begins National Police Week 2024

May 12 - May 18

We are beyond thankful for our Lawrenceburg Police Department:

21 full-time Officers
4 Lieutenants
2 Sergeants
2 Full-time Detectives
3 K-9 Officers
1 Motor Office

LPD also has multiple ILEA instructors with a variety of specializations who perform the majority of Officers' annual training. LPD is also supported by the Reserve Officer program which includes the Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation School Resource Officers. They also have a civilian staff that includes ordinance enforcement, office manager, clerks and evidence technician.

Their service & commitment to the City of Lawrenceburg is immeasurable and we cannot thank them enough. ❤️🤍💙

It’s always the official start to summer fun!!! The Dillsboro Homecoming Festival is always a great time!

One of the best Entertainment line ups this festival has yet to have. Shenandoah is still electric and will be performing lots of their #1 hits such as "Two Dozen Roses" "Next to You, Next to Me" and "The Church on Cumberland Road. The Renegades start things off with what will be an outstanding jammed packed performance. Mark your calendars now, YOU DON"T WANT TO MISS SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE FAIR!!
