Mint Weddings and Events is in full support of the movement and are angry and frustrated about the continued injustices of the Black community.
These past weeks, I’ve been reading up and educating myself about the race issues we have in this country and it’s history. As a mother, I’m also committed to raising socially conscious children by teaching them what I’ve learned and leading by example. I’m going to ensure the entertainment (media, books, music) we consume is more diverse with an emphasis on black talent. The money we spend will support black more businesses. And we will have open and honest conversations about racism. I have pretty liberals views and have never considered myself a racist but there’s much work to be done by all of us non-Black people. We stand in solidarity with our Black brothers and sisters.
