Hot Rod Coalition helped judge the Sanger High School Car Show today. What a great show! Nearly 300 cars of all makes, models, and years. Students detailed their cars to show off to their peers. Food trucks and games filled out the show. We are excited to be bridging the generational gap in the car show scene. Congratulations to Jordan Guzman and his 1961 Impala, which was chosen for the Hot Rod Coalition Pick. He got a little nervous in the video but told us his aunt recently inherited the Impala from her father-in-law, whose had the car since high school.

The Old Town Motorama
The Hot Rod Coalition is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for the 4th Annual Old Town Motorama, set to wake up Clovis, California from May 16th to 19th. With an exceptional team comprising dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, the City of Clovis, B.O.O.T., various nonprofits, and collaborative agencies, we've poured our hearts into crafting an unparalleled experience for the 2024 Motorama.
This year we’ve made the Motorama a four day event! Instead of starting Friday night, we are now getting this party started on Thursday evening at the Backyard Social Club. You’ll enjoy reserved parking for the first sixty classic cars and a live open mic night.
However, the massive pre-party is still going down on Friday night, in partnership with Fresno Street Eats, we’ll once again grace the grounds of Crow and Wolf Brewery.
Saturday will be a feast for the senses, featuring an array of culinary delights from local restaurants and food trucks, complemented by the allure of Top 75 Awards, Car Club Picks, live music, Hot Rod Vendors, and the timeless charm of Old Town Clovis.

Thursday - Pre-Party: Meet us at The Backyard Social Club in Clovis, CA. This Thursday night will be full of hot rods, live music, trivia, and a huge selection of brews and bites. Stay tuned for more details.
Friday - Party: We've teamed up with Fresno Street Eats for Friday evening's festivities yet again at Crow & Wolf. They'll have some of the best food trucks on hand and an area to park classic cars near the eateries.
Saturday - Event: The San Joaquin Valley’s largest classic car and truck gathering will once again be descending on Old Town Clovis. This is not your grandpa’s typical lawn chair car show. Hot Rod Coalition and B.O.O.T have coordinated a full street closure of all of Old Town. In every corner of the show footprint we have intentionally coordinated attractions to ensure nobody has a moment of downtime.

This weekend the Valley Nationals returns to the Madera Fairgrounds! Hot Rod Coalition has gone big this year! We've booked three bands, invited 25 hot rods from all over the West Coast to display in our indoor building, hundreds of trucks will have their own special parking,we are expecting a huge auto swap meet, vendors, vendors, and more vendors of every kind, there will be a vintage drag display, Cadillacs from Vegas to Nor Cal will be desending on the fairgrounds too. However, the stars of the Valley Nationals are the hundreds of classic cars that will be on display under the shade trees.
The Valley Nationals is fun for the whole family. Hot Rod Coalition, our volunteer staff, and sponsors want to invite you to the Madera Fairgrounds this Friday evening and Saturday for an experience like none other is San Joaquin Valley. This event only happens once a year, don't miss it.

Charlie and Corine Sotelo - Wife had the car since she was 13 years old asked her dad to buy it then picked grapes to earn money to pay him back. Charley built it in his shop and even hired a personal body guy to do the body work and Darkside Customs out of Reedley did the amazing paint job. The Valley Nationals is about to go down
Oct 13 & 14, this Friday and Saturday, at the Madera Fairgrounds, Hot Rod Coalition will be presenting the Valley Nationals. You can still register your car or truck at the entry gate for just $40. Gates for all pre-registered and day-of-registration participants open at 7 Am.

Come enjoy the Friday night kick-off party as we eat, drink, hang with the hot rod community, listen to great live music, and prep for the next day. Get a sneak peek at vendors setting up and the swap, spectators Friday evening are just $5.
Saturday is the big one. The event we've been working so hard to produce and promote will be ready for the masses.. The indoor show will be availble to view, three live bands will be rockin' the stage all day, the specialty truck area will be in full swing, the Cadillac Kings exhibit will be laid out, the vintage drag display by @rockyphillips will be ready to fire up, the auto swap will be ready to go and we also have a bunch of hot rod vendors and specialty shops for our friends and spectators to view.
Needless to say, this is the show the Valley needs and it is coming to the Madera Fairgrounds this Friday night and Saturday morning. Please share the news as we are anticipating a great event, full of memories, cars, and endless laughs with friends.

Fresh out of the paint shop is Levi's '32 three-window couple. Levi has been a friend for years and is an avid hot rodder who drives his cars all over the country. During his days off from PG&E he is either on a roadtrip, planning a roadtrip, or working on the farm. Our friend Justin of @visionrodsandcustoms will be bringing his absolutely stunning Lincoln to the indoor show at the Valley Nationals. Justin “Pony” Carrillo has built numerous show stopper in years past. He often would build cars to debut at the SEMA show every year, but has now taken his talents to the auction block. Pony and his team have been very successful at buying, flipping, and building customs that wow the crowds at the auctions.
