No matter how much content I sit on, the hardest thing for me to do is post it. I don’t know why, but I just struggle with putting content out there and sharing stuff. Having to come up with an engaging or good caption, then hashtag strategy, then the “right” time to post it. It’s all draining, but I’ve been wanting to share Josh + Ellre’s film since my last post. But alas here’s another screengrab as a tease to whenever I do decide to be more active with my feed. I could ramble on about how tired I am of sitting in front of my laptop to what feels like 24/7 day in and day out but that wouldn’t do me any good. Any one else struggle with creating or just posting content on here? Or is it just me?

Some of my favorite photos are very wide, landscape styled types of portraits that show couples in a space and environment to help add not only depth to an image, but also story. This was taken from one this past weekend’s weddings. Congrats Sarina and Jacob.

I like to get moody on occasion. This church with stained glass at was the perfect excuse to do some dramatic and moody nighttime portraits and I couldn’t be more stoked on how they turned out.

So I don’t show my face on here nearly enough and with it being a new year I thought I would reintroduce myself for those that are new and don’t know me. Hey! 👋🏻 I’m Garrett, and I specialize in both photo and video for which I’ve been shooting weddings on and off since 2005 starting while I was just a sophomore in High School. I’ve actually been shooting films much longer than that though as my interest in filmmaking started as early as Elementary School. I’m known by some as the karaoke god 🎤 for which I know how to also cut a rug so I will dance my pants off like nobody’s business🕺🏼Additionally, I will kick your ass at Mario Kart. I’m a walking a Shazam/Human Jukebox as music is one of my passions. With all that said, I look forward to hearing from all of you and hopefully get the chance to capture your wedding and create timeless memories for you to look back on to cherish and help remember your day.

Being that it’s the last day of the year, I thought I would make a post to signify the end of 2022.
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to shoot at this iconic mural in LA down in the Arts District with some friends whom are pictured while attending a workshop by none other than .
If you haven’t seen this mural, I recommend on taking a tour to do so, I gotta give props to the artists & for making such a beautiful piece of art.

📣 Let’s talk about bridal beauty portraits!

I think every bride should carve out a little bit of time in their timeline after prep so we can focus on taking some solo portraits fully ready to show off how beautiful you look! This part of the day is one of my favorite times and really allows me to be creative to capture the most stunning and dazzling portraits of you in your dress.
