Our sweet little Mya informed the world last night that she wants to be a princess when she grows up. She's already mastered that job :)

We have thoroughly been blessed by Cornerstone's prek program and mya looks forward to launching into homeschooled K5 this fall. I have to say, I may have shed a little proud tear watching her on stage.

I think the furthest south we have ever traveled is the Florida panhandle area. Trying to find beautiful shells there is an all day event. Go a little further south and it's hard to find an area of sand without shells!

1/20/2023: We had an amazing date night at in Mt. Vernon, IN. We learned so much, had so much fun, and thoroughly enjoyed our "HANDS ON, SCREENS OFF" date!!! Everytime I see pottery being molded from a gloopy lump of wet dust into something so unique, beautiful, and functional, I'm reminded of this beautiful hymn-
"Have thine own way Lord" circ. 1907
Verse 1:

Have Thine own way, Lord

My prayer for the year is that God will mold us and form us into a vessel to be used for Him and His glory.

Our bottle lamb is always looking for milk from anywhere, so Nala decided to adopt him. Great Pyrenees are truly a different breed, and when it comes to their flock...they'll do anything to protect them. I guess even trying to nurse them.

We had the blessing of being able to witness the miracle of new life, and get lots of sweet baby kisses. Plus, homeschool for the day......is done. 😊🐑

Our Story

Hi, I’m Stephanie Pounders. I’ll be the one with the large camera in front of my face. After years of photographing everything from newborns to weddings, I found that I truly am passionate to photograph families and kids in a fun and relaxed environment. Instead of photographing just the people in your family I really try to capture the connection between those people. I want you to look back and remember how you felt with each other and not just what you looked like. So, if you book with me, we will probably run and be silly, I’ll probably get everyone close to each other, and I guarantee you won’t hear me say “Say, cheese.” I hope to create not only beautiful photographs for you to cherish throughout the years, but a fun experience that breaks the dreaded photo session stigma.

I’m located in Spencer County, Indiana and I book sessions out on our tiny spread of land. Sessions are $275 and include a fully hand edited gallery of 25-40 images within 3 weeks. A release to print and share your digital images is included, but professional prints are available for purchase within your gallery.

I’m a family oriented person, and I believe that helps me to capture images that best represent your family. It also limits the days that I am available for sessions. I prefer to book on Thursday and Sunday evenings, but I can work with you to find a day that best fits your family. I limit the number of sessions booked per month to allow adequate time for editing and keep days open in case we need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. If you have something come up, or if the weather is bad, I leave several days open so that you are not stressed in trying to find a time to reschedule your session. The only day that I am not ever able to schedule is Saturdays.
