Sober Not Boring Events Sober Events are a bridge between people in recovery and members of the community to break down stigma and encourage support.

We provide education, support, resources, meetings, and volunteer opportunities to aid in community reintegration in a fun way.

One of our own, Tim Belyou, volunteers at Tabitha Farm in Gowen. Want or need some volunteer hours and love farm work?? PM Heidi Woldhuis and she will get you hooked up! Rides are available with pre-planning.

Tabitha Farms is a non- profit farm doing all the right things! They plan to grow crops and raise chickens for eggs that will help the hungry in our communities. How awesome is this!!

I'll be there at times. Chickens and goats?? Count me in!

I dream of a future where Outreach 419 will have it's own large community gardens, green space, play ground, soccer/sports field, walking path, and maybe chickens, goats, and horses! I want to help my community more and I pray for growth. That means owning some land and that means fund raising and grants to make a dream reality. What looks impossible may actually be possible! We shall see where this ministry is led in it's growth.

What an amazing New Year's Eve party! We had 6 people get baptized, multiple people celebrated milestones, and we rang the church bell to bring in a brand new year!

Thank you to everyone who stopped out - we don't have an exact number but there were close to 75 people that shared part of their evening with us ❤️ what an amazing night!

I walked downstairs at one point and saw groups of people and families with kids playing board games, laughing, and just enjoying the moment. And let's not forget the heated games of Giant Uno upstairs 😆

To all of the volunteers who took time out of their day to help bring people to and from last night, we love you so much and appreciate how you serve and help people enjoy moment just like this. You are helping create memories we hope will last a lifetime.

Thank you all for your prayers and support in 2024 and helping us end the year strong. If you feel led to support Outreach 419 in 2025, we would love to have you on the team! Whether it's prayers, sharing our posts, volunteering, or contributing financially, it all makes an impact and we are truly grateful 🙏

The NYE party starts at 7pm and goes until 2am. There will be appetizer type food options, snacks, and treats. We will not be serving a sit down style dinner tonight.

Feel free to bring something to share but it is never expected or required. We just want you there!

As I was preparing for tonight's discussion, I thought it would be fun to open this final one up to everyone! Tonight, we are looking at the Highlight Reel from 2024 and celebrating wins, and would love to celebrate with you too! We know many of our amazing supporters and prayer warriors are not able to be with us in person so I hope this makes you feel like you are part of the team and we would love to see your answers!

Looking back at the mess we have made can sting at times. Be proud of how far you have come, but have faith in how far you can go.
