What a day it was with Kristen & Jim! Their love story is a true testament to what it means to love deeply and unconditionally. Jim’s blindness never once felt like an obstacle on this day; instead, it became an inspiration. I brought my A-game to ensure Jim felt every moment and every emotion!

Their humor and joy were infectious, reminding us all to live in the moment, be ourselves, and have fun. It was an honor to take on the responsibility of documenting their day so they could fully immerse themselves in it, stress-free because that’s what every couple deserves on one of the biggest days of their lives 🙌🏼

HEY YOU! What’s up, welcome to Corriveau Captures! My name is Dustin and I’m the one who runs the show around here 😆

There are so many new friends that have joined me on this journey and I wanted to say hello! Lately, life has just been exciting and rewarding. There are so many new exciting adventures and projects coming up that I can’t wait to share with you all soon!

However, I wanted to be vulnerable for a minute. These past two years have been extremely tough for me. The reason was I had never experienced the extent of anxiety & depression when I moved back to CT from CA due to the situation I was in out there. We all go through our own life struggles and obstacles and this past year, there were times when I wanted to give up and no longer move forward with my business. My anxiety and depression made me beat myself up, second-guess, and overanalyze my work & progress but to add to that - I felt guilty about not keeping up with social media, having to conform to trends or follow and keep up with what everyone else is doing, etc.

With all that being said, I’ve come out of that darkness and I'm saying GOODBYE to the old me. I want anyone to know who wants to give up on their dream to not let your past define the present and your future. Be authentic, true to yourself, and run your business in a way that feels right for you. Don’t let anyone tell you differently and stand your ground! The number of followers or engagement does not result in your success! I want to surround myself and attract clients, families, couples, and other content creators who value respect and kindness 💯

These headshots are really special to me because I’ve learned to appreciate and love myself to the fullest again especially being in front of camera. I see a bright, kindhearted, ambitious, and overly excited man in these photos. Remind yourself to be prideful and humble at times, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Let the haters talk 😏

Wow, where do I even start with Megan & Isak!?!?

Megan and I go way back – we've know each other since we were kids and her mom used to be my school bus driver! We grew up in the same small town and even got to swim together. Fast forward to now, Megan reached out to me looking for a wedding photographer, and of course, I said yes. And here we are, now happily married to one of the coolest guys I've gotten to know!

Their day was absolutely perfect. I couldn't be happier for the two of them. And to think, this is only the first part of their wedding! I'll be heading back to Boston in August for their reception at the Museum of Science, and I'm really looking forward to it 😆

I'm excited for all the new adventures that lie ahead for these two!

I'm currently on vacation in Tampa visiting family. Yesterday, we were at the beach when a family and their dog arrived. They were taking photos with their phones, and it was clear that their beautiful dog didn't have much time left. I had my camera with me and felt compelled to capture some lasting memories for them 🥲

This is Wolfie, she is 7 and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery last week, but unfortunately, the cancer had spread too far for the doctors to do anything more. Today, Wolfie is being put to rest. I'm grateful that I was able to be there to take these portraits of Wolfie and her wonderful owners, Lydia & Dave 🙏🏼

Jess & Dave had the most perfect weather and sunset for their engagement session! They initially said to me, "we’re camera shy, awkward, and have no idea what to do" but, these photos prove otherwise…the results are simply magical and breathtaking! I can't wait for their wedding in August 😍😆

Grateful and proud for 29! 🥳

Reflecting on this past year, it’s been a journey of self-discovery and growth, both personally and in my business,

1.) This past year tested me mentally, especially after moving back home last March. Despite the challenges, the experiences changed me for the better. I’ve embraced my independence, learned to love myself again & do things that bring me joy for me, and accepted that not everyone will share my values—and that’s okay. I found my passion in life for photography & videography and discovered who my true supporters are. This journey of healing and self-growth has been transformative! 🙌🏼

2.) It's been over a year since launching , I am incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, amazing couples, and clients. Thank you all so much, this milestone is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds! 😆❤️

Dan popped the big question this past weekend and Jess said, “YES”, what a surprise it was for her! I couldn't be happier for them both! 🙌🏼

Taylor & Nathan were feeling quite anxious and nervous for their engagement session because they’re camera shy they said, BUT, let me tell you…they were definitely lying and freaking crushed it! 😆

The weather was just perfect with the sun shining bright and the snow-covered landscape making for an absolutely stunning backdrop. With added help of some Noah Kahan and Coast Modern's playing in the background, the overall vibes were just incredible! 😍

I can’t wait for their wedding in the beautiful hills of Vermont this fall! 🙌🏻

After moving out of my small hometown, I decided to move and venture off to FL and CA for 3 years. After the adventures I had, I decided to move back to CT last March.
