It doesn’t get much prettier than Kathryn and Alec’s spring wedding!

When it comes to events and referrals you always think the planner is always bringing the whole team together and 99% of the time that is the case.

But you know what’s special when a photographer refers you to a client - why you ask? Because many photographers like us care about the details and they want to shoot pretty things!

In the case of this wedding, many of the vendors were booked before we became involved - and Miss Kathryn had good ones as she worked with many vendors from a friend’s wedding we planned - but when Kathryn was feeling overwhelmed with work and planning the wedding her friend (our past client) and photographer told her to call us it was a match made in heaven!

Wanna know what one of the best parts of our job is?

We get asked to be a part of someone’s most special day - we get invited into discussions about their dreams, families and their friends and we get to be a part of someone’s first day of forever!

So one of our favorite parts - we get to be our client’s cheerleaders long after their event day is over. We get to celebrate their future biggest movements from afar like moves, job changes and growing families!

We are forever touched by each and every client we get to work with and none of you are ever just an event date on a calendar - you all make a lasting impact on us and our business!

You see to see all the pretty things out and about but what about the where all the pretty things go to sleep at night?

We’ve been working hard to organize and streamline the warehouse as this season is going to be one for the book!

Now if only our lovely Bennington chair covers would come in- yes it’s nice to see them in all their lovely ha to road but we like to keep everything covered and wrapped for safe storage and transport so goods stay fresh for your events!

I don’t know if we will ever work with another bride like Kathryn who to date has been our MOST organized bride ever! Kathryn you were beyond a joy to with work and so honored to spend for first day of forever with Alec with you and your families!

“Where to begin!? Hiring Jacqueline was hands down the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. My mom and I had booked several of our vendors, etc… thinking that a day of coordinator would be enough. We are both very type A and like to plan, so we initially had not planned to hire a full-service wedding planner.

As the wedding tasks started to pile up a bit, we decided “just to call and see” what hiring a wedding planner would be like (Jacqueline and the Collected and Co. team came highly recommended by one of my close friends). We hired her on the spot and never looked back. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible Jacqueline is. She really listened to what was important to my fiancé (now husband) and me, and quite literally brought my wedding Pinterest board to life.

Even though she runs an incredible busy business, she has a way of making you feel like yours is the only wedding on her calendar. I knew that everything was being taken care of, and that peace of mind was priceless in the months and weeks leading up to the big day.

The morning of the wedding, I just showed up and enjoyed every minute of the day. Jacqueline and her team ran a seamless event. Every detail was spot on, and the reception ballroom reveal took my breath away. I lost count of the number of guests who told me it was the best wedding they had been to.

To quote my husband, “Everything went perfectly, just the greatest day of my life.” We will be eternally grateful to Jacqueline for sharing her gift with us on the most special day of our lives! xo” -Kathryn

You may look at this and see some pretty floral and you’d be right that is some stunning floral!

But if you ask us what we see when we look at this picture - you’d probably get a smirk on our teams’ face as every last one of us would say we see the table bases.

When you run a business you know a lot about your craft, talent, product, offering but when you talk to other business owners in the same industry but different speciality like floral, photography, catering you hear the stories of challenges that you would have never guessed and their problem solving to over come those challenges.

These bases are one of those stories! We love our Sloan tables so much and so do many of you as they are most popular table this year BUT after a month after receiving them we kept hearing little popping sounds in the warehouse and couldn’t figure out was it was until we discovered all the Sloan rectangular table bases popped, separated and in some cases exploded.

We called our supplier and they sent new bases and those were worse - within days of unboxing they were ruined.

We had two options return all the tables and select a new one but many of our clients had planned their event design off these bases or stop the panicking freaking figure it out.

So our team drew up designs and created new bases in house within a week. I am so proud of our team and their hard work to fix just one of those annoying problems that comes along with owning a small business.

All this to say we all face issues, problems, plans gone wrong but we are all better people on the other side when we can step back take a breath and come together as a team to solve these issues!

Our Sloan Collection has sure been a fan favorite and you will be seeing a lot of them around the Twin Cites at events this year!! They come in 8 ft rectangles, round dining and bistro sizes!

Take furniture selections and make it as big as you want or scale it down to fit your space the best!

Our Otto modular oval bar is a perfect example. Make a large oval statement bar or break him apart to use in seperate spaces like did for this fabulous Barbie event. A deconstructed oval with some fabulous palm trees by in the main space with a 7’ Otto section and pedestals out in the cocktail space!
