TL;DR: Tire fixed! 🛞

Thank you everyone who offered suggestions and kind messages today regarding our tire issue. We were able to find someone to fix it and Dottie is back up and running!

I (Sarah) also wanted to take a moment and shoutout my amazing fiancé, Joey! 🥳

He spent 10 hours tirelessly working to find a solution to our truck dilemma, and honestly, I could never run this business without him. He’s the man behind the scenes in every aspect of my life—whether it’s scooping ice cream, changing the oil, picking up cones and spoons, or pretending to love every single flavor I make him taste-test.

He never stops helping me, he never stops encouraging me, and I truly don’t know how I got so lucky to work with my best friend every day. 🥹

Alright, that’s enough sap for one post. Regularly scheduled ice cream content will return shortly—probably with Joey fixing something else in the background!

P.S. We took advantage of a little bit of extra time today while waiting on repairs and gave the wheels, bumpers, and cab a new coat of paint! Little bit of early Spring cleaning 🧼 🖌️

We are so sorry, but Dottie will not be able to make it to the 15th Annual Mardi Gras Columbia parade & festival today. 😞

While preparing for the event, the valvle stem on one of our back tires completely broke off and we have been desperately trying to find a shop to repair it. But between weekend hours and the type of tire/wheel we have, we have had no luck.

We have lots of events on our calendar, so please send out some positivity into the universe that we will be able to get this fixed TODAY! 🙏

Set and ready at Icehouse Amphitheater until 9:30 pm!

Taking advantage of the afternoon, we are set up at the Walmart at 1180 Dutch Fork road in Irmo! 🍦 Scooping until they kick us out! 😈
