A few weeks ago, I had the honor of co-hosting and decorating this beautiful baby shower for a beautiful friend and momma to be!

It was the perfect day, filled with love, friends, flowers, sweet treats, and al the dusty pinks your heart could want!

Cheers to you and your new adventure ! I’m so excited for your new chapter, you’re going to be a wonderful mother.

I love sweet place settings. I love it even more when they have a sweet message behind them. 🍽 📝💕

Recently, I’ve had the guests who are attending the gathering send two to three sentences on what makes the guest of honor special. Then we read them out loud.

It allows for some time to slow down, and really reflect why you’re gathering, and it ends up creating the best memories. ✨

Y’all - I can’t get enough of my kneeling chair and The Austin table! I’m SUPER excited to be featured on their blog for their Austin project! I have to start by telling you that this is a rad local Austin company. 🙌🏻

This is an actual day in the life of me creating dried florals (these were some of my favorites). And yes, I’ve actually owned this chair for a little over a year! As soon as I sat in one, I knew I had to have it!

All of my creative work can be a little tiring - and normal chairs are not my favorite. The kneeling chair keep me me naturally aligned. Being able to switch leg positions and change my sitting position helps a ton, too!

I have to take a moment to rave about this table. I’ve never found a more portable, lightweight, and foldable table. It’s perfect for creative work, and for me to take for an event or styled shoot. I don’t even have to ask for help carrying it and it fits in my small SUV (both are a BIG win for me!). It also helps that I can fold it up and store it when I’m not using it.

The inspiration all started from a napkin! I knew that I wanted neutral dried florals on the table with fun candlestick holders, but the napkins really pulled it all together - they added that pop of bright summer color that we needed.
and.frostings matched the cakes so perfectly to the theme! One of the cakes matched the napkin perfectly, and that s**g cake really stole the show!

This week was a blast!! I took a much needed girls trip to Paige & Smoot Hull to celebrate our beautiful friend ’s birthday! Paige is such a bright light that does so much for others! I couldn’t wait to decorate for her birthday dinner. 💕🎉🌸

The place was perfect - so roomy, bright, and well decorated! It couldn’t be more perfect for a girls trip! Extra cool when my decor matched the vibe of our main cabin!

You can also shop where you sleep, meaning you can purchase all the items in the beautifully decorated cabins! I love this concept, because they had such unique pieces that you don’t see everyday. We stayed at the Boho Cabin and the Eisley Cabin! Both were perfect. 💕

Thank you to all of the fun and inspiring ladies that came! You were truly a blast and I can’t wait to do it again! ✨🙏🏻

Little details that make make a big impact! Each guest at the picnic wrote a few sentences about what makes Leia special. 💕

It was a beautiful moment when we all took turns reading them aloud.

Thank you Leia for allowing us to celebrate you, you mean so much to so many. And thank you to each person that participated, - it was the perfect idea to read them together. 🙏🏻💕

I am so excited so share the dreamiest summer picnic for one of the kindest people we know! Leia is so special and dedicates her life to helping others. I am so grateful that this group of incredible ladies and I were able to celebrate Leia and her birthday! 🎉💕🧺

My partner in shine, , and I wanted something cheery to highlight Leia’s bright personality. We chose summer colors - bright coral and bright yellow with a touch of pastel pink to soften things up. 🌸

Also, I learned something new this week! Apparently taper candles can melt in the Texas heat. 🌞🙃

We could not have done it without some key players and local Austin vendors!

I had so much fun doing this photoshoot for with .marie.collective & !! I actually purchased my sleekform chair last year and I’ve looooooved using it for working! Making flowers can he super labor intensive and this chair helps me stay naturally aligned. I can’t recommend it enough! 💕

Often times you’ll see cakes over on the side, or even set up in a pretty dessert area. That’s super fun and all… but for small events or gatherings, I love letting the cake or desserts take center stage and placing them in the middle of the table. Let those beautiful details shine and have their moment! ✨💕
