In less than a week, we're doing our show at Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, CT. We're doing a show Saturday and Sunday. It's our full show, and if you've ever only seen us at a Renaissance Faire, this is an entirely different show. I'm still insane, just a different kind of insane.

I grew up in Waterbury. I grew up wanting to perform at Seven Angels Theatre, I even went to their Theatre Camp before I went to Tannen's Magic Camp.

And we get to raise money for the World Tang Soo Do Association Region 9 Scholarship Fund with these shows. The Beaudoin Academy of Karate has been a part of my life for 35 years.

And I get to talk about Irish History, Irish American History, and a bit of Celtic Mythology. Even a few of the not so-pleasant parts.

Celtic Magic has illusions, magic with the audience, danger, music, comedy, and even a little bit of drama. I really hope you come see it.

Hey Maryland Peeps! If you enjoyed seeing us at the Maryland Renaissance Faire last season, Bella GreenWolf and I are doing two shows at the fantabulous Poe's Magic at the Lord Baltimore Hotel on Friday and Saturday night, April 19th & 20th.

Experience Magic in a lovely and intimate setting with us! We hope y'all will join us.

Apparently we had so many tour dates yesterday that we broke FB and IG, so WE ADDED MORE. Take that, internet!

That's right, we will be at the Sparta NJ Renaissance Festival for all 3 weekends, on top of being at Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade, That Medieval Thing, Poe's Magic, Meriden Daffodil Festival, Matt and Mattingly's Ice Cream Social Scoopfest, 62nd Fair Hill Scottish Games, Philly Faire, New York Capital District Renaissance Festival, Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire, The Great Lakes Medieval Faire, Bucks County Renaissance Faire, and Delaware Renaissance Faire.

The bottom line is that you should be coming out to see us this season because we're giving you like... all the chances (And if you run a venue in October or December and want us to cause a ruckus, reach out. My body is ready)

Coming home from Switzerland and I received some unfortunate news:

Celtic Magic will not be returning to the Maryland Renaissance Festival this year.

We're bummed, and based on our great response from the crowds last year- we were honestly surprised. But remember- there are no guarantees in this business.

And the entertainment director was very kind about it and, as an entertainment director myself, it's hard not to be sympathetic to the hard decisions they have to make. Especially when hundreds of thousands of dollars are in play.

What this means is that we have 9 weekends in September and October open (Actually 8, because we have already booked Labor Day weekend with a new festival coming to PA) and we're going to fill those weekends. Because that's what you do in show business.

I had a chance for one more adventure abroad, so I hopped on (many) trains and headed to Munich for a day. I got to see the beautiful Marienplatz and, of course, take in a glass of Glühwein.

I had to get a shot of it at night. So beautiful! Now- back to work!

It was our last weekend at the Royal Fox Theatre stage, and we are sad to leave it, but we will be spending the last 3 weekends of the festival at the Blackfriar Stage and we are excited for the little change of scenery.
