You might not have ever seen her face, held her hand, felt her embrace, laughed with her or cried with her but I know she wished she could have done all of those things with you.
The biggest heart in the world with the biggest shoe collection I have ever seen. This is the person behind the name Lillie Mae Events, my grandma.
She left a massive imprint on my life and our desire is to do the same to those we have the honor of walking beside.
We care more about your story, your heart and the journey. We focus on how you want your event to feel, smell, taste, sound and look like by connecting, listening and embracing your story.

Faith (the owner) went above and beyond to help me not only have a smooth day but made the planning process easier for me. I would receive a quick response from my many questions at all hours of the day, had multiple meetings with me to make sure she had all the details right, and gave me checklists/reminders regularly. My wedding was two months ago and she still checks up on me and is helping with some post wedding things. She is amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

The Empowered Business Workshop by Lillie Mae Events is about empowering you, the small business owner, by giving you the resources, tools, and confidence to tackle Instagram, Facebook, etc.

This workshop will be focused on Instagram. We will be focused on creating powerful captions, reels, understanding the algorithm, when to post, what to do after you post, to use or not to use hashtags, how to find trends, call to actions, and more! When the workshop is over, you will leave with three reels to post to your business Instagram and the confidence to continue creating!

We will have two designs at your disposal to use for background, photo ops and inspiration! The designs will be White Wedding & All the Color. The design spaces will be inside and outside (weather permitting).

We will end the afternoon with a Social Hour where you can celebrate your accomplishments and network with amazing 417 wedding professionals! A cash bar will be available!

Florals are not just for bouquets and centerpieces anymore! Whether it is a statement piece over your sweetheart table or hanging greenery above, hanging florals are a HUGE trend for 2022. Large floor to ceiling installments are also growing in popularity.

𝕌𝕟𝕦𝕤𝕦𝕒𝕝 𝕎𝕖𝕕𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔸𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕣𝕖
The traditional white long wedding dress that we all have in our minds is not where we are headed this year (and beyond in my opinion) Floral covered dresses, puff sleeves, pastels and layered ruffles. Drenching in pearls, high-low cuts and short wedding dresses…that is where we are going. I say bring it on!

This concept is simple. More and more couples are paying attention to how their wedding effects the planet. We are using less plastic, opting for outdoor venues, choosing caterers and florist’s who source their ingredients and products from local farmers and using plantable seed paper.

My name is Faith Perdue and I am the Owner and Lead Planner of Lillie Mae Events! Lillie Mae Events was inspired by my grandmother Lillie. Grandma Lillie was relentless about living your best life! She always encouraged me to love big, never take anything too serious, take chances, always be you, put family first and always do it with a pretty dress and a great pair of shoes on!

I focus on creating unique and unforgettable experiences for unique and unforgettable people. My passion is to empower people to embrace their story and creativity unapologetically.

I dispose New Years resolutions. I have found that resolutions put you in a box. I feel as though they are typically based on emotions…How you are feeling at the exact moment of which you decide on them.
Instead, I chose to decide on a word or phrase that I will chose to live by for the year. Every decision that is made through out the year is based on that word or phrase. This allows me to apply it to all aspects of my life; personal or professional.
