It's peach season, and we're missing it! 😭 I just keep telling myself it's ok because WE'RE OPENING A STORE! And I can only do so much at once. What pies do you want to see first when we open??

3 Things about me:
1- I'm addicted to Dr. Pepper and coffee. It's seriously all I drink, and I can't help it. It's 5am? One or the other is in my hand. Bring me one, and you'll be my best friend.
2- I rewatch shows and movies constantly. I've seen The Office like 8 times. New Girl, probably more. I like what I like.
3- I've been on the Food Network twice and have been featured in at least three magazines that I can think of off the top of my head 🙌 What a wild ride these last few years have been!
Dough Tip: cold, cold, cold. Cold butter, cold dough, cold water. 👇🏼
Dough is so much easier to work with when cold. Cold butter will keep those beautiful chunks that will melt and evaporate while baking, which gives you dreamy flakes. Cold water will prevent melting said butter during the mixing process. Cold dough is 10x easier to crimp. Sometimes when my hands are too warm, they melt the butter while crimping which makes a sticky mess. Just pop that dough back in the fridge to stiffen up and try again.

PRO TIP: I swear, I always buy more fresh ginger than I need, and now I have the best tip to use it all up. 👇🏼
Make sure you completely peel any leftover ginger. A potato peeler is the best for this. Next? Freeze it! Next time you need it, use your microplane to zest it. It grates PERFECTLY! In fact, it grates better than when it's fresh. You don't get any of the stringy bits and it's not wet where it clogs up your zester. Instead, you get a beautiful ginger snow 😍 Try it for yourself!
