I am so proud of my team and the magical vendors who helped us with this event!

We planned a full 3-days of programming for a hosted wedding with the wedding happening on the last full night. The best place to get married at this location was on the helipad, and it turned out to be so beautiful, so intimate, and lovely for these guests.

If you want a full service experience, PLEASE hire your planner first. We can help to make sure you're a good match for your venue and you're not misaligned in your budget (read: overspend on your venue, or not see things that are down the road) and your venue. We can help with this search, help you review the contract (we're not lawyers, but we can help provide context, and we know what's normal and what's not). If you hire a venue first, that's okay, but sometimes that means we're left with a budget that is mis-matched with your hopes as your venue took up a larger portion than makes sense for your budget.

For wedding day management (sometimes called coordination... or day of coordination, although, that's an outdated term that we're really trying to remove from the industry altogether), please hire your venue first. Or you can add our venue search package, but that's a different thing altogether :)
Why? Well, sometimes in the search for a venue, your date may change when you find the right one, and if we're holding a date for you, there will be a fee to change the date as we will turn away other business once you've claimed that date - it's yours. For full service, we have a different process since we're a part of the venue search and have that as part of the plan and the pricing.

What a special moment! M is a professional stone carver and artist and she created this beautiful piece to display to share her love with her guests. What a beautiful way to document her story to have her photographer join her while she completed this piece in her wedding dress, the week before their wedding.

This community is so dear to me.

Being a planner is a solo job most of the time. It means we work remotely, we have limited contact with vendors, clients, and the like. We have big social events, but the event day, that's a small part of what we do (it's like the finals when you've been in school all semester).

Finding AWPA has had such a huge impact on me personally and professionally. I'm honored to be a part of it.
