I love a good bridal bouquet, and as a planner, I love getting to see all the different styles my brides choose. You can do small and simple, heavy on the florals, heavy on the greenery, or even a dried arrangement. This year we’re starting to see a comeback of the cascading bouquet (swipe to see a beautiful example). How do you feel about the cascading bouquet trend?

Guess what I’m doing today! I’m going to DISNEYLAND and I’m so pumped! Were celebrating my sisters birthday. In addition to meeting her and her family, I’ll be heading down with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. Not sure how the days going to go with the little one, but I’m planning to shower her with snacks, and rides and entertainment and praying for her to take a nap somewhere along the line. I am a total sucker for beautiful stationery! I feel like it really sets the tone for your wedding and is also a great way for you to add some personalization into your overall wedding design. Pro tip: provide a “details” box for your photographer on the wedding day. Include items like stationery, jewelry, some blooms from your florist, and your perfume. If your photographer has this early in the day, they can take time to shoot these details for you before all the business of the rest of the day commences. ⁠

Who’s ready for the weekend?! We are! Gearing up for our last (and 5th) wedding of this month. You guys…it’s been a doozy! I normally would not have booked this many weddings in the same month, but these were all a result of the Pandemic Postponement mayhem. We made it through and are SO happy for all of our couples who were finally able to celebrate and have their dream weddings after all the challenges over the last year(+). As much as I love celebrating with my couples, I’m also looking forward to a quiet month in July. I’ll just be waiting patiently for all thr June weddings photo galleries! ⁠

Aside from answering emails and chasing my toddler around, I’m trying to take it easy today. It’s Tuesday and I’m still recovering from this Saturday’s wedding! This is what your wedding vendors refer to as the “wedding day hangover”! All the same symptoms as the real deal, but no alcohol to blame 😂 I walked 5.7 miles on Saturday’s wedding. And that’s pretty typical for most wedding days for me as a Coordinator. It’s a lot of walking and standing and answering questions all day long. And this is why when someone tells me they “only need someone to set up their decor and make sure the day goes smooth”, this is my face 😑

Yesterday’s beautiful garden wedding at was exactly the bright kinda summer vibe I’ve been ready for! We’ve been seeing so many weddings with neutral color palettes (which I love!) but all the color In the florals and even the tabletop was super refreshing! The bright colors reminded me of this wedding from a couple years back at . Another beautiful garden venue.

My husband and I are going away for 24 hours, for a little overnight trip to Santa Ynez. A late birthday celebration for me. This will be my first night away from my daughter EVER , since her birth two years ago. I sure will miss her, but this mama needs a night to let loose! 🤣 I am going to try my hardest to not work on this mini vaca, so please have patience if you’re trying to reach me. I’m ready for my wine already 🍷 Do you have a favorite winery in Santa Ynez?

When it’s your wedding you can do whatever you want. And if you want mismatched ceremony seating then you get mismatched seating! I love the look of mixed upholstered seating for an intimate ceremony, like this setup at Spanish Hills. And this view is pretty special too. How do you feel about mismatched seating?

Hello event vendor friends! I know we’ve all missed “the good ol days” of our industry mixers. And while we’re not quite out of the woods, I know we’re all excited to see that light at the end of the tunnel!
