Hey Phresh Fam! We’re back with the final installment of our top 5 wedding venues segment. We hope you’ve enjoyed our list and have considered us in your future wedding plans. Capping off our list of best venues: The Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion

Located about 9 miles from the White House, in Chevy Chase MD, lies this award winning venue with as rich in history as you can find around DC. Built in 1927 by the same architect that built the Meridian House, The Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion was donated to the Audubon Naturalist Society (now nature forward) to be preserved for its natural environment.

This venue is located on 40-acres of private land where guests can enjoy an enchanted Forrest aesthetic for outdoor ceremonies. The Mansion also houses space for up to 170 guests, a stone paved terrace, and private rooms for pre-wedding customs or intimate family gatherings. The Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion offers a variety of services such as staff and catering, bartenders, a myriad of decorative features to achieve the look you envisioned, and temperature controlled tents for outdoor festivities when the weather doesn’t comply.

Hey Phresh fam! We’re back with the 4th installment of our weekly best wedding venues in the DC area. On our list this week: The Line

Located near the heart of DC. The line continues our theme of historic venues with modern twists. The line is a unique combination of amenities that include hotel, restaurant, spa, private chefs, and event planning services. With a 110 year old church at its foundation, guests can celebrate a special day in a variety of customizable spaces.

Your wedding could be hosted in various rooms/spaces around the venue including the mezzanine, foyer, monument view suite, rooftop, and much more. Almost every room can accommodate over 100 people and bigger rooms can host over 200. The line offers curated drink menus and help setting the table with personal chefs at your service.

Hey Phresh Fam! We hope you had a fantastic new years holiday. We’re back to our weekly list of top 5 wedding venues in the DC area. Kick off 2023 for us: The Meridian House.

Located in DC, the Meridian House was built in 1919 for an ambassador and designed by renown architect John Russell Pope. The house features a myriad of beautiful 17th and 18th century tapestries and antique furniture. The Meridian House also boasts a two-story foyer for grand entrances, Waterford crystal torcheres, and French doors along the entire south side of the home that open out into the Linden Grove – a breathtaking pebbled courtyard where foliage from 40 imported linden trees forms a natural canopy from mid-May through October. The space can hold up to 150 guests.

Hey Phresh Fam! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday and are gearing up for a great New Years holiday. We’re back with our second installment from our weekly top 5 wedding venues in the DC area. Number 2 on our list: Gordon Springs

Located about an hour outside of DC in Purcellville, VA, this beautiful venue “offers a unique combination of rustic charm and modern sophistication”. Their scenic property boasts miles of rolling hills, 18th century architecture, authentic country atmosphere, and the best hospitality.

Their temperature controlled oak barn offers 8,000 sq ft of stone patio event space and 5000 sq ft interior space for 250 people. The old rustic barn offers a gorgeous backdrop for celebration.
