Absolutely swooninggg over this sneak peek for Shelby + John’s engagement session last week! 😍😍 I’m in love with how this session went and we’re so glad we met them!

A little back story on how we met: Josh and I were at pretty place about to start a engagement shoot with one of our couples when John goes right in front of the cross and proposes! 🥹 After he proposed I ran up to them and congratulated them and offered to take a few photos since they just got engaged! I learned after sending the photos to them that they were visiting the upstate from Indiana! Now a little over a year later we did their engagement shoot and we’ll be going to Indiana to photo and video their wedding in January! 🥰🙌 I’m so glad our paths in life aligned like they did! These two are the absolute sweetest and I’m so honored we get to capture this season for them! 🥹🤍

Want to do something fun and different for your engagement photos?? We’re totally down!! Amanda came to us with a very specific idea for their engagement shoot and we absolutely loved helping bring this vision to life! These were taken right before they opened! They were so kind to let us come in and do these photos! After they opened we shared a few drinks with Amanda & Harley and had such a great time getting to know them more and make some new friends! 🤍 we can’t wait to video their wedding in Key West, FL next year!! 🥰

I highly recommend doing something fun or different for your engagement photos!! We had so much fun doing these! 🫶

Josh and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary yesterday! 🤍 Having him by my side everyday has been the most amazing and rewarding part of my life 🫶 We started dated at 15 and 16. The first date we went on was also the first time we met in person and I instantly felt connected to josh in a different way than anyone else. He’s truly my soulmate and I’m so glad we met each other and fell in love so early in life 🤍 I can’t wait to spend forever with you josh 🥰

The sweetest family shoot of Nicole, Avery, Reedy & River! 🥰 We loved getting to do these photos for them in downtown Greenville! 🫶 River was just diagnosed with cancer and Nicole and Avery wanted to have some family photos to hold onto him for a lifetime. This is one reason I love being a photographer, we got to meet River, interact with him, give him treats, and give Nicole and Avery photos to have forever in the process 🤍

They had the sweetest intimate elopement at the rock quarry garden in Greenville! 🫶 Her dress was absolutely perfect and their entire family was so sweet! We started with a private first look and took some couples photos while their family arrived! We did a 4pm ceremony, formal family photos and more couples photos. It was the perfect day 🤍

Have you been wondering if you should do a bridal session or not?

Let me tell you why you should!! 🙌

✨ You get to trail your hair and make up, and see how you’re going to look on your wedding day beforehand! You might wear your hair down for your bridals and decide on an updo for your wedding day, you might go for more glam or less on make up, you might switch up your makeup products to last longer. Doing a trial run is ALWAYS a great idea!!

✨ You have beautiful, timeless images of just you to hold onto and gift your husband! I can go ahead and tell you, you will not regret a bridal session! Imagine how happy your husband will be having an amazing photo of his gorgeous wife in his wallet, hung at work, or on his nightstand. He will loves these photos and so will you!

✨ It gives you a reason to get dressed up more than once! Why only wear your dress once and only document it once? Documenting your bridal era is a must! 🤩

Eloping and still want to do something as a reception? ✨

We planned the perfect little reception for Rachel + Daniel back in November! 🫶 They had their ceremony at Pretty Place chapel, then we headed to our second location! They wanted to do everything fire side because that’s how they started hanging out - by the fire with their work friends!

They made s’mores as their “cake”, took whiskey shots as their “toast”, popped champagne for something fun, and had a first dance to their favorite song! It was the sweetest way to finish out their simple wedding day! 🥹

I loved the energy between these two and the love they have for each other. Their vows were the sweetest and I loved helping them elope in their own unique way! 🤍

Elopements can be as simple or involved as you want them to be! Do whatever makes you and your lover happy!! ✨

A little moment for the grooms out there! ✨

Groom side getting ready should be captured too! It’s definitely not as involved as the brides getting ready. As we all know, most guys don’t really like photos 🤣 So we keep their side short and sweet! Here’s a few things we usually do during their getting ready!

- Capture the details! We’ll get photos of his shoes, tie, watch, cufflinks, his ring, cologne, and anything else he wants!

- Photos while he gets ready! Putting on his tie, his shoes, jacket/vest, and usually mom will step in to put on his boutonniere! We’ll get some nice portraits of just him too!

- Photos with his guys! Weather they’re playing pool, drinking beers, or just hanging out we’ll capture them being there for their friend on his wedding day!

Like I said, grooms side is usually pretty simple, but it’s a great way to remember who was there on your wedding day and getting some coverage just for your groom! 🙌

I’m so excited to continue capturing Alexis + Dillon’s story! We have their maternity shoot at the end of this month and I’m so excited!! This time last year we were taking their engagement photos, now they’re about to become a mom and dad! 🥹

Savannah + Seth’s engagement shoot in downtown Charleston was absolutely amazing!! 😍🤩 We loved getting to meet them for the first time in person and walk around with them to some great spots! We planned their shoot for Friday, but it showed rain most of the day so we decided to do the shoot Thursday! We got into Charleston, checked into our hotel and headed straight to them! It was so much fun and I can’t wait to share more from this amazing shoot!! 🥰🫶
