This is a seriously cool thing, but put your science hat on... ..basically the Calla Lilly can't put the brakes on water uptake, so the massive amount of water in its cells causes the stem to burst apart, creating what is a pretty interesting looking phenomenon.

So, if you have ever receive any cut stems as a gift, they will survive in just a couple inches of that good 'ol H2O. ...otherwise, they'll drown 🤪

As we prepare for the holidays and are decorating with lights and other beautiful things, I'm reminded that there is nothing that shines as bright as Jesus.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS HAS NOT OVERCOME IT.
