We're pleased to announce that we've invited a sampling of the most iconic Fem DJs in NorCal to bless us for an evening

This show will highlight a culmination of diverse soundscapes, curated by the baddest of them all. This electric, bashful, savory night is not to be missed - hearts will be racing and feet will be moving. 💕

Our internet overlords tell us that approximately 30% of all DJs are fem! That indicates that less than a third of all DJ's identify as fem... This can leave fem DJs feeling underrepresented, unengaged, and pushed to the side. Perfect Dark recognizes this and we'd like to be the change we wish to see. WE LOVE ALL DJS. WE LOVE YOU.

Fellow humans! Friends of Perfect Dark! Inhabitants of Planet Earth!

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish y’all a happy Earth Day - despite the fact that we believe spaceship Earth is worthy of our deep gratitude and mindful stewardship 365 days a year.

Wade Davis once wrote that the Kogi people of Columbia believe “The surface of the Earth itself is an immense loom upon which the sun weaves the fabric of existence”. None of us in Perfect Dark have ever written anything that poetic and succinct, so we thought this was a good time to share some quotes and ideas that act as north stars - guiding values - in our personal lives and in our mission to co-create a meaningful, worthwhile future.

Reverence for this amazing planet we have the privilege of experiencing often seems contrived in today’s fast-paced, exploitative and unintentionally-designed society. We genuinely believe that we can make this planet a better place through sharing music, creating safe spaces to celebrate, and advocating for organizations and frameworks that are helping shape a more regeneratively minded future. The world we were born into needs help - and we’ve got an uphill battle! Lets try and do some good for Mother Earth together. Jerry Garcia once sang, “Through this world of trouble, we gotta love one another”.

We appreciate all of your support immensely. Humans are not a virus, we existed in harmony with natural systems for millennia. So much of what we have to learn is recognizing what we have to unlearn. We wish we could share more than 10 photos - we shared so many gorgeous ones with one another today. Enjoy these and then go get some sun on your face
