Between professionally styling bride and coordinating weddings, I have earned over five years of experience in the wedding industry.
I knew that based on my personal and professional experience, it was time for a change.
I founded O Happy Day Plus Size Bridal Boutique with the intention of solving two major issues found in conventional bridal boutiques.
Firstly, I saw a need in the industry for availability of more wedding gowns that flatter EVERY shape and size, so I began accumulating a collection of ready to wear gowns that fit plus size and curvy girls and their unique shapes. Sizing in my boutique begins at bridal size 12 (street size 10) and extends to bridal size 32 (street size 28-30).
I have ensured these gowns are ready-to-wear, so that a bridal gown is more accessible for plus size and curvy women in need of a gown that will fit their taste and personality--along with the voluptuous curves of their bodies--without having to wait months for an order to be fulfilled.
I do offer custom orders for women whose sizes fall outside of the range offered at the store at this time, but please be aware it will take a little bit of time to acquire your dream gown!
Secondly, we all work hectic schedules, and trying to coordinate multiple people in order for them to arrive at the same location at the same time is quite the challenge (just ask me, I'll tell you ALL about it). More importantly, some of us work scheduled shifts that do not allow us to make appointments during conventional shop hours, which leaves many of us with very few options for finding a gown.
It is for this reason that I offer private, at home bridal gown fitting appointments, which allow you to set the appointment during a time when it is convenient for you and your bridal party.
