7 years.
It is so freeing to be with someone who you know is committed to being by your side for forever.
The bond of fully being able to be myself - in all my goodness and flaws - is something that pushes me to be the best version of myself and to not shy away from the messiness of getting there.
It’s freedom to grow, change, reinvent and blossom and yet at the end of the day find grace and loyalty.
Gosh. 7 years feels like a big number in someways but it also just feels like we’re just getting started, babe. I love you, Michael.

Mike headed out with Olivia and Sam to where they had their first date ever. At a mini golf course!

Today was a WHOLE VIBE.
Sometimes I think “How did we get so lucky!?” Our couples are quite literally the greatest humans on the planet.
It’s funny how as a wedding photographer, it’s never just a job. It’s really this profound connection that leads to the magic of capturing someone’s story.
If you’re a photographer, make the extra effort and time to connect - it will take your craft to new heights. And if you’re a couple looking for a photographer, don’t settle - find someone you have a connection with. It’s so freaking worth it.

Sweet kisses with my boy. They happen less and less because he’s so dang busy. I’m realizing in this season that the highs are so high and the lows are so low.
It’s this intense burning love and this massive frustration. That is parenting for me. It’s readjusting expectations and living into our new reality that has been the hardest to accept.
So you’ll find us here on vacation sipping wine and cider while our kids color in activity books. You’ll find us enjoying the amazing restaurants while our kids watch Phineas and Ferb. And you’ll find us hiking and exploring the outdoors where we can all enjoy the freedom that being outside brings - no limitations.
Parenting and owning your own business. 90% of the time I have no clue if I’m doing anything right and the other 10% I feel like supermom.
So if you’re reading this. Remember that whatever hard you might be in, lean into the beauty of your season and give yourself a hell of a lot of grace for the rest. You’ve got this.
P.S. someone please get married here cuz it’s freaking beautiful!

Wedding days are about celebrating more than just you two together as a couple.
Carleigh and Sean’s wedding day celebrated their marriage and also celebrated who Carleigh and Sean are as individuals. Their great love for each other and devotion to their family and friends was the highlight of the day.
