C+P drove a whole 1.5 hours to have a couples session with us. They were such a fun a playful couple! We enjoyed getting to know them and spending a beautiful summer evening with them!
I hope that we can continue to have moments like this with amazing couples like C+P.

Happy Monday! It’s been a while since I’ve introduce myself! My name is Catherine and I’m 1/2 of the Corteses! Here are some FUN FACTS about myself
1. As much as I LOVE the heat my hair doesn’t!
2. Popcorn is and forever will be my guilty pleasure.
3. Traveling is my love language!
4. My all time favorite show is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER ( I’m actually rewatching is I type this!)
5. I will forever be your biggest cheerleader!
6. I love a good challenge! That’s how I learned how to make macarons! Would love to learn how to make sour dough bread!

July is one of our favorite months out of the year! We are past the half way point of the year, we are in the middle of summer and we can’t forget it’s our Wedding Anniversary month.
This year we are celebrating our Anniversary going on a little Get-A-Way just the two of us to the beauty and charm of Savannah GA.
It’s been a place that weI have been wanting to visit for some time now and we can’t believe the time is near!

Wow! What a day to Launch our new and improved website!! The day instagram broke! That has to be a good sign right!?!
All jokes aside we are so excited to FINALLY be able to reveal what we have been working so hard on the part few weeks (well more like months)

Express it through acts of Love 💕

There are some things that can only be expressed in ways which can’t be with words. It’s easy to tell someone I love you, but to prove that love daily in the things we do for each other in small acts is a whole different ball game.
We’ll be the first to tell you that we often forget this very valuable lesson and we remember in those moments when one of us makes the choice to do something for the other especially when one of us feels drained or discouraged.
We promise you that those acts of love are noticed and valued and that it only helps to edify those moments where you look at your partner in the eyes and let them know that you love them.

We had our 1K Giveaway shoot this past weekend and we couldn’t be more happier with how everything turned out! Fun fact Linsey and Matt were not engaged when she won until a few weeks after! She asked if she can bring her fur baby along for the shoot and I said yes!
I was little nervous at first because this would be my first couple/ engagement shoot with a four legged friend and we are so happy with the results.

Happy Friday! Today we want to shed some light on the Beautiful bond of marriage and the wisdom that the bible offers us.

Marriage is a sacred union, an incredible journey of love, commitment, and growth. And in the pages of the Bible, we find timeless truths that guide and
Inspire us on this beautiful path.
.
Proverbs 18:22 reminds us that, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and
Obtains favor from the Lord.” What a beautiful affirmation of the value and blessing that a spouse brings into our lives.
.
Ephesians 4:2-3 teaches us to “Be completely humble and gentle, be patient bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” These verses encourage us to practice understanding, patience, and forgiveness, fostering a strong and harmonious relationship.

These along with many others have been a great help for us in the 17+ years we’ve been together. They have helped us both see how to best nurture our marriage and have given us the wisdom on how to best treat each other and they have not once has steered us the wrong way but have helped us through the good and difficult season of our marriage.

For years in our relationship we showed and expressed our love to each other in the way we liked to receive it and found ourselves struggling to communicate to each other what it was that we were looking for from each other.
Not to say that we didn’t love each other, but had no idea that we loved each other in a way that was common to us which was how we liked to receive it.
This is where the "The 5 Love Languages” came in. It gave us the opportunity to see that we are all different and receive love differently and there is nothing wrong with that. This is one of the benefits of reading something to empower your relationship or marriage; it has nurtured growth in the both of us and we know that that it will for you as well.
We can all use some assistance when it comes to this whole relationship and marriage thing, so let’s not go at it alone.

Wow how is it Wednesday already! Although we have been a little quite here on socials there is ALOT going on behind the scenes! Re building our website from the ground up has been a challenge but thanks to my background in graphics design and my amazing husbands skill with words we are so close to the finish line!

A moment for Mom and Dad
I had the honor to photograph an extended family session a few weeks ago and I had so much fun photographing everyone! They all followed my style guide and looked so good!!

Last weekend we celebrated with Jadeliz Sweet 16. She looked like a princess straight out of a Disney movie. These always get me so emotional. I almost cried like so many times yesterday.
