Mr. Jack Burl Phelps, age 81, of Antioch passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at his residence. He was the owner of Southern Radiator Service for 27 years, co-owner of JBM Sound who provided sound for the Smithville Fiddlers Jamboree for 28 years, and a Baptist. Mr. Phelps was born

Update: Jack’s visitation will be Monday April 3rd 1pm- 7pm and Tuesday April 4th at 11am-1pm.
The funeral service will be Tuesday April 4th at 1pm
Both are being held at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville, Tn. ALL ARE WELCOME. I’ll post the obituary when available.

It’s with great heaviness I’m sharing that my grandfather, the founder and patriarch of JBM has passed away today. Bluegrass music was his passion. He loved making and mixing. He touched so many lives and he will be dearly missed. Prayers for our family are greatly appreciated. I’ll share arrangements when they come. Thank you all for all the friendships he’s made through the years.

Hey everyone, hope y’all are doing well. As you know many festivals have been postponed for this year. A full list can be found on our website, however I recently spoke with Terry Pierce of Summertown and he asked me to let everyone know that the festival for June has been canceled. He said that camping and jamming are still welcome, but no stage show. As of now, the Labor Day weekend show is still scheduled as normal. Hope to see y’all soon.
