Hey Everyone, I wanted to share a little 'why I do what I do' post since I rarely post about myself. 🙏 My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios (obviously, lol), and I've been professionally shooting weddings for nearly six years. I attended Idaho State for three years for Dance Choreography until I decided it was time for a change after a decade. Though I enjoyed the lifestyle, I felt I couldn't push myself to be the best needed to 'make it' and earn a living. Instead, I realized I have a true passion for creating. I switched majors and earned my B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Visual Communication. Yes, three years were dedicated to professional choreography, but hey, no regrets 😍was a fun time. 🙏

I discovered I could do more with my camera than just filming dance videos. While I initially marketed as a video production company, I found weddings to be much more enjoyable than commercial projects. I appreciate what I've learned and am proud of the content I created, but I found weddings to be something special and rebranded the company to reflect that.

People always ask, 'Isn't it boring shooting the same thing over and over?' Well... no. Weddings are never the same. In fact, I thrive in finding what makes each couple different. It's so satisfying to hear about people's journeys and try to make a film that emulates that. I can't tell you how often I've cried while filming a stranger's wedding day vows. 🔥 Capturing the love that pours out of us humans is something special, and I've only built my love for weddings more than ever, finding them anything but 'boring' or 'repetitive.'

This Was a Really Cool One. I pride myself on being open-minded and shooting a variety of different people, cultures, religions, etc. Being a part of a Traditional Muslim Wedding was such an honor to be able to write off my bucket list. Cheers to the adorable couple!! 🙏
