A friend asked for a caption. Here's mine.
You all need to get a grip, take the bull by the horns and focus on taking steps. They don't have to be mighty steps or even fast ones. Movement is progress. I've been around the block a time or two, and have the t-shirt to prove it. You probably won't listen to me because you are too distracted by shiny, fast, and keeping in step with everyone else. I already did that in a past lifetime. In this lifetime, I was blessed with the eventual knowledge that comes with observing, making decisions for myself and moving forward through all that life has thrown in my way. Sometimes I have to retreat into my protection to avoid the chaos around, but it is NEVER hiding and NEVER out of fear. It is to ground and center my being so I can keep making progress. Being able to voluntarily take a step back from the rest of the chaos in the sanctuary of my own space is often overlooked as not making progress, but I disagree. Knowing when to hang back, and assess the situation from a place of complete safety allows me to practice pointed blank concentration and continue on my own path of enlightenment and truth. My shell is a gift from God and the universe that is able to go with me, and grow with me in my journey. I am not lazy or frightened. I am deliberately conscious.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding on Block Island! I'm so happy this bride was able to still able to have her ceremony at the Southeast Lighthouse Lawn. The ceremony was scaled back a little because of COVID19, but still very pretty.
