Some love stories feel written in the stars — and for Anna and Codey, that might just be true.
They met exactly four years ago on the Fourth of July, completely by chance, at a bar. Fast forward to planning their wedding, and the only date left at their dream venue? July Fourth. Some would call that luck. I think it was meant to be.
This Fourth of July wasn’t about fireworks in the sky (although we had those too!). It was about the quiet magic of two people saying yes to forever — under the kind of glowing, golden light photographers dream about.
Anna looked absolutely radiant. Her vision for the day was simple but beautiful: she wanted it to feel pretty, bright, and memorable. And every detail, from the florals to the soft evening light, delivered just that. The way her dress caught the sun, the way she smiled at Codey — it all felt like a real-life romance movie.
Codey had told me early on that what mattered most to him was being present, taking it all in. And watching him on the wedding day, fully immersed in each moment — whether he was laughing with friends or holding Anna’s hand during quiet pauses — reminded me why I love this work so much. It was a day full of joy, intention, and presence.
As the evening wrapped up, there was no better way to end it than with guests waving sparklers in celebration. The light, the laughter, and the symbolism of the date made it the kind of send-off they’ll never forget.
