We’re still in recuperation mode over here, but on the ups! Whatever virus I had last week turned into laryngitis. So, that paired with the 24 hours of traveling has me dragging!
Busy wedding season may be over, but has a full week starting tomorrow and it’s going to be a good one✨ If you’re interested in seeing my fashion photography, head to my studio page to follow along… I have some exciting sessions just around the corner!

We started with details on the stone of the venue and then threw these babies in the pool! How fun?!
When traveling for weddings, I don’t usually bring my flat lay mats. So, that gives me the chance to take advantage of the terrain around me.

There’s truly nothing like this job… Being a part of a wedding day is deeply moving for so many reasons. The opportunity to connect with two people and their loved ones, the privilege to preserve their story forever, the chance to encounter their vows to one another, the reality of being trusted with such a sacred, intimate, and significant day in two people’s lives…
It’s truly extraordinary, no matter where it all takes place. I feel like I say it a lot, but it’s just a testament to how grateful I am to be here: thank you for sharing your wedding day with me🥹✨

Spent the morning doing a session in the quarter and then had an afternoon meeting with a new client! The summer is shaping up to be pretty busy despite the heat typically slowing things down!
We’ve had a mysterious breeze in Nola the past couple of days, which is making the weather only slightly more bearable. Nonetheless, I still feel like I need a nap after every outdoor session🥲🙃

New Orleans can be so charming… especially in the French Quarter at golden hour✨
Speaking of golden hour, that time of day is quickly becoming the hottest🥵 So, I’m considering offering mini studio sessions this summer for couples and families (and pets🐾) because who doesn’t love air conditioning?!
Normally, I don’t offer minis, but I may start putting out some feelers to see who’s interested and see where that goes!

I can’t choose because they both evoke different emotions… the digital is classic, vibrant and clean, but the film is ethereal, charming, vintage!

Ok, so I may have found the best film lab of all time and I don’t gate-keep!
I’ve been slowly working film into my workflow and was considering the pros and cons of developing and processing on my own vs. sending to a lab. Ultimately, I felt like I couldn’t commit to the time it would take me to do myself.
And then in walks and I couldn’t be happier! They offer subscriptions that include SO many perks if you’re a film photographer! Go see for yourself…
