Just a reminder that the quality of the product you receive is crucial. A huge contributing factor to quality vendor selection is vibe review! You need to do your research and make sure you like the world you’re interested in but you also need to make sure that the person providing the services to you is a good fit FOR you.

Look at how comfortable and natural the chemistry is in these photos. A large part of that is the chemistry and connection between the people in the photos but another huge part of it is their confidence and comfort level with their photographer.

Professionalism is number one to me in my business. My clients choose me, and every other vendor that they decide on for their big day very carefully, they put their trust in us to execute their vision that they see for one of the most impactful days of their lives. That is no small situation in my eyes. When a client chooses me, they are choosing to become a part of a family. I will protect them and the importance of their big day at all costs. I have worked with some absolutely stellar vendors in my career, but if a vendor is not up to par, I will suggest to my clients to find a new one. I have a list of vendors that I work wonderfully with, vendors that I’ve worked past events with and have great relationships with and on more than one occasion, I have had clients that fire vendors that they’ve chosen who are miss handling the services that they’re set to provide and have hired vendors that I recommend and my clients end up being so happy. That day came again today where my clients for a wedding that we have planned for next weekend had a vendor that has reciprocated zero communication since August 31 and then came to us in the last couple of days with a list of things that they’re unable to do that they never communicated from the beginning. I understand that things happen and the client is not necessarily always right, but even if the client is wrong if you have not kept up with communication and reached out and done your due diligence to try and do everything that you can do to make things run smoothly then you get what you’re asking for. In this case my clients were 1000% in the right and this vendor tried to place the blame on them and myself (I always have receipts) for communication breakdown and not having things all on the same page between all parties. After bringing up that I personally reached out on October 31 and September 25 with no return communication, this vendor still tried to place blame on my clients and tried to force them to change aspects of their day that were curated specifically for things that met their needs. That will never fly with me and I will always do my best to provide an alternate solution in situations like this. Going into an event like a wedding day with anxiety and added stress about whether a vendor is going to provide top-tier service should never be a thing. Always advocate for yourself and vendors ALWAYS advocate for your clients!! Huge shout out to J Squad Entertainment llc for not only being an amazing DJ that I’ve worked wonderful events with in the past but also for coming through clutch and picking up this wedding for me last minute when he already has one planned for the following day. It’s going to be a great day and my clients sighs of relief when we locked in a new vendor just a little over a week before their wedding that didn’t include worrying about how the services would be provided was incredible.

Good Morning! It has been some time since we've updated here, life has been SUPER busy! In 2022, in addition to our wonderful weddings, we moved into a new home and welcomed a new baby! To say we needed some time to catch our breath is an understatement lol. BUT WE ARE BACK!

We started booking out 2023 calendar in late 2021 but paused booking any new events for most of the year. Our calendar is now open again for 2023 and 2024! Weddings are our jam, our clients are everything to us, and we are so blessed to be able to do this!

Last nights couple and their families hold a very, very special place in our hearts. This year has absolutely been a roller coaster for them and through that they have held each other up to get to and through one of our absolute most amazing weddings to date.

As a business in the wedding industry, we obviously are people who love the idea of love. We have worked same s*x weddings and we hope to continue to work them just the same as non same s*x weddings. We believe in everyone's right to love who they want to love and it's all beautiful to us.

We say that to say this, while cleaning out our spam email we came across this email asking if we wanted to advertise on their platform and just as we were about to delete it, we decided to open it. We would like to personally send a HUGE thank you to all of the brides and grooms and their guests who joined us yesterday for the 1st Annual St. Mary's County Bridal Expo hosted by Lazy J's Farm and Twisted Celebrations! It was an absolutely stellar event and that is all thanks to our amazing attendees and all the top notch vendors!

We are aware that there was a bottleneck at the door surrounding the registration table and we are currently looking at ways to improve that for next year! Thank you for being so patient while our WONDERFUL booth registration attendant, Lexi, worked hard to get you all in as quickly as possible.

We look forward to continuing to host this expo every year, conveniently located in Mechanicsville, and to bring you the best local vendors from the area. Our goal is to continue to make improvements to this extremely successful event in the future.

This past Saturday we finally got to celebrate Amanda + Steve! After almost two years, a few reschedules, and some venue changes, they got to have their beautiful wedding and be celebrated by all their family and friends.

Amanda was absolutely stunning in her shimmering princess gown and despite the heavy wind and rain, their wedding was nothing short of breathtaking.
