🍂✨ Fall Fest at was a hit! Proud of our Humdinger Productions team! 🎃🍁 From immersive witches brew potion experiences to loads of experiential photo ops, we created a magical space for families to enjoy the best of fall.

DJ Crawdads kept the energy up, and our themed decor brought out the Halloween spirit! 🎶🧙‍♀️

With a Halloween costume contest, balloon twisters, face painting, and pumpkin decorating, there was something for everyone!

As a family business, the coolest part was working alongside my daughter Lucia today and my husband Kacy. ❤️ It’s not just about the events we create—it’s about the moments we build together as a family.

Just read NPR’s Greg Rosalky’s article “So many music festivals have been canceled this year. What’s going on?”

I think too many festivals have become formulaic—overpriced tickets, waiting in lines, and no real connection. People want more than just headliners; they want a meaningful experience. That’s why a festival like Annapolis Songwriters Festival (ASF) stands out. With hundreds of hours of free music in 14 walkable venues, it’s an intimate, authentic experience. With so many festivals getting canceled due to high costs and lack of creativity (as mentioned in the recent NPR article linked below), I’m proud of Annapolis and the hard work and risks taken by our friends at Rams Head Group to build the Annapolis Songwriters Festival (ASF).

ASF’s ticketed headliners like Lee Brice, Citizen Cope, and JJ Grey & Mofro performing at City Dock bring a vibe that’s laid-back yet historic. With the Chesapeake Bay in the background, it feels personal and special—definitely not your typical festival.

ASF showcases 140 songwriters - and our team at Humdinger Productions helps out to tackle some artist logistics, some showcase production, assist in marketing, help manage liquor sponsors, and act as a liaison with local hotels and venues.

Kacy Jenkins Julie Corletta Kenn Korb and our team at Humdinger Productions are proud to contribute to creating an event that’s all about fostering community and connection. This September marks our third year as an extension of Rams Head’s team with festival founder and producer (and my former boss) Kyle Muehlhauser, Laura Price, Royal R. Bundy, Kris Stevens and Adam McIntosh and so many others!

Thrilled to Share the “All the Flavors of PRA” Project!

We were honored to be hired by PRA to design and build this creative and interactive display, and it was such a rewarding experience to see it come to life. Our team at Humdinger Productions loved collaborating on this project, which highlighted PRA’s nationwide presence in such a fun and engaging way.

This 12’x8’ custom-built wall featured:

• 14 angled lip balm dispensers that let guests interact and pick their favorite flavors.
• LED nodes lighting up key PRA locations, adding a bright, dynamic touch to the display.
• Branded side walls and graphic elements that made the whole setup feel cohesive and eye-catching.

We are grateful to the PRA team for trusting us to bring their vision to life.. Here’s to many more creative projects together!

Humdinger Productions is proud to have partnered with DTLR for the 2024 HBCU Tour, creating unforgettable, immersive experiences at some of the nation’s most esteemed HBCUs: Howard University, Morgan State, Delaware State, and Bowie State.

Our custom setups transformed each event stop into an engaging, interactive space that reflected the vibrancy of these institutions. Highlights include:

• A bold, branded entryway complete with towering faux palm trees and an archway that welcomed attendees with DTLR pride.
• Gaming trailer where students participated in live gaming tournaments, complete with LED screens, gaming chairs, and sleek DTLR branding. It was a hit with eSports enthusiasts!
• The Nike/Jordan Tote Tent provided interactive displays, featuring a branded tent and school-specific signage for each HBCU, giving students a chance to connect with the latest trends.
• The McDonald’s Lounge, styled with a rattan couch, Ferris wheel decor, and inviting pillows, served as a cozy spot for students to recharge while taking in the event’s energy.
• The Ethika branded claw machine, offering exclusive prize opportunities, became an instant favorite, adding to the fun and interactive spirit of the event.

Each experience was designed to immerse attendees in the HBCU spirit and create lasting memories at every stop. Huge thanks to DTLR for trusting us with this tour and to the HBCUs for their partnership.

Robin’s memory and impact on Humdinger will never be forgotten.

Robin was not only an incredible Event Manager, but also a wonderful colleague and friend to many. Her contributions, dedication, and kindness touched all of us. Please keep her family in your thoughts.

In Loving Memory of Robin Ann Harper

Yesterday, we lost my dear friend and colleague, Robin Ann Harper, suddenly and unexpectedly. The shock of her passing has left us all heartbroken. Robin’s love for her family—especially her children and grandchildren—was at the core of everything she did.

Robin had this incredible way of making any space feel warm and welcoming. Whether it was through a flower arrangement, a diffuser, or lighting candles, she had a gift for turning even a warehouse into a cozy, comforting place. No matter how tough the day was, she made you feel like everything was going to be okay.

Her kids were her heart and soul, in a posted message to them she said “I want you to remember to be kind and have empathy for others. I want you to pursue your dreams and be happy and healthy.” (Facebook post May 14, 2023) Her children are her legacy.

Robin will be deeply missed by all of us. Her kindness, her warmth, and her dedication to her family and friends will stay with us forever. Please keep her family in your thoughts and hearts during this incredibly difficult time. Especially her youngest son, who is the same age as mine.

Rest easy, Robin. We love you.

Back in May, Humdinger Productions
had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Live! Casino & Hotel on an event that brought the glamor of Hollywood here to Maryland.

We rolled out the red carpet—literally—creating an entrance that made every guest feel like they were arriving at a star-studded premiere. The decor inside was a blend of lush greenery, vibrant floral arrangements, and playful, thematic touches like the Beverly Hills sign and mini outdoor scenes on the tables.

But the real showstopper was the interactive game show we set up on the stage. This wasn’t just decor; it was an experience that got everyone involved and added an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

Even though a few months have passed, we’re still thrilled with how this event turned out. It is a pleasure working with Live! Casino & Hotel, and we can’t wait to bring even more creative ideas to life in future projects. Here’s to more unforgettable moments!

We were thrilled to help Proof Media create a branded immersive experience for Deleon Tequila at the 2024 Mubadala Citi DC Open.

Highlights of what we built-

🌟 Branded Arch Entrance: A stunning 18’W x 10’H arch with built-in puck lights.

🎾✨ Tennis Ball Wall: An 8’ x 8’ backlit wall with about 1,225 tennis balls.

These features drew attendees into a sophisticated DeLeón Lounge with top chefs and a special tacos and tequila experience

Last month, we were thrilled to provide decor for this year’s 🌊🐉 Dragon Boat Festival 2024.

The illuminated displays, photo-ops, and vibrant vendor booths adorned with bamboo patterns and dragon boat designs brought the spirit of the festival to life.

Check out the cute hanging rice dumplings on the centerpieces!
