Another American Royal World Series of Barbecue in the books! We had a great time with our friends and family over the weekend.

Thank you Damn Yankee Texas BBQ for the memorable last 2 weeks but we are ready for a break!!

We spent a ton of time with Hooray Grill Co using one of their Santa Maria grills. This thing is amazing. We made everything from steaks (right on the coals), fajitas, and burgers. Check out what they have to offer!

We were able to walk to the stage for a 20th place chicken call on Sunday and we took 65th overall out of 444 amazing teams!

Now it's time to take a break, see everyone in 2025!

Thank you Jdqbbq, Man Meat BBQ, Smoke 'n Magic, and American Fire BBQ for all their support this year!

Miles, Jax, and Finn all cooked the American Royal World Series of Barbecue kids Que using Snake River Farms ground beef! Finn was a huge hit with the news crew!

We waited through the rain for the results and Miles ended up with huge grand champion win with a perfect 180 score!

Huge thanks to Man Meat BBQ for providing Miles with a custom rub for his smash burger tacos!

As for us….not the results we expected but today is a new day!

We are a little late with this post but things are quite hectic right now with American Royal World Series of Barbecue starts tomorrow after a long fun filled weekend at Boo-B-Que! Thank you to Greg Hastie with American Fire BBQ for the amazing contest, we had a blast. Thank you to Corey Linton and volunteers for taking care of us all weekend and dealing with all the BBQ shenanigans!

We didn't do so hot on day 1 but day 2 we landed 9th overall out of 56 amazing teams!

2nd place Smart Chicken thighs and wings
7th place Prairie Fresh pork
31st ribs 🧐
33rd Brisket 🤡

Way behind on this post, but here it is. Last weekend and the Pirates went to cook a Rib Cook Off Association comp close to home. Ribs didnt fare well with 8/15. Fin turned in his JBQ burger for a 1st place call and turned in smoked sausage pizza for a 2nd place call! Nice job Finn. a special thanks to American Fire BBQ for letting us borrow the Alfa!

Congratulations to our good friends Meat Rushmore BBQon their Grand Championship at the Made For KC BBQ! Thank you to OHM Concession Group, O.G. Bandits BBQ and Corey Linton for a great competition!

We managed a 6th place pork call and a 10th place rib call using the best rub on the planet, Jdqbbq!

We left quickly after the awards to head to wedding for our good friend from C'Mon Que!
