Saw something like this going around so thought we’d give it a try... As engagement season comes to an end, allow me to give you a crucial word of advice - make sure you love your wedding planner/coordinator! I’m not talking about only loving their work, I’m talking about loving their personality, too. On your wedding day your planner/coordinator will be keeping an eye on you almost every moment and checking in with you ALL. THE. TIME. They are with you in the hectic parts of the day when they have to tell the girls to chill because they see the look on your face. They are with you when no one else is sure how to bustle the dress. They get up in your business and pull your spanx down to smooth it out for you while your photog. gets everyone lined up for portraits. When you can’t find where you laid down your bouquet, or what you need to do next, they are there. They dictate your entire day, and their actions play a huge role in how the day goes. They make sure the groomsmen behave and tell them not to take the last shot before the ceremony. To type them up and remind them that taking photos isn’t that bad. They are also with you in the quiet moments when you’re with dad or whomever is walking you down the aisle to a new life. To hand you a tissue before you have time to ask. To give you that reassuring look that you’ve got this, and you look absolutely stunning. A clipboard in one hand and your veil/ train in the other… Most of the time you will have a beautiful day regardless, but take my advice… love your wedding planner/coordinator. We hope this brings a smile to your face and may even provide some song inspiration too!

Every season brings a new wave of things that are “in” and others that are on their way out. And @weddingandeventplanningbymn has seen our fair share of trends over the last 7 years (WOW — it’s crazy to think that I’ve been a certified wedding planner for that long already 🥹). Anywho, Megan + Andrew had SO many unique wedding ideas… From their group grand entrance’s, to the groom breaking out in a surprise solo, and this sweet moment during the mother/daughter dance where the brides’ sister joined in part way through 💕
