No shade on people who hit me up for free tickets but it just isn’t the time.

And just to clarify two points for the inevitable conspiracy theorist replies:

1) I get paid the same for clubs either way so it ain’t about me and

2) every show I’ve been to since reopening I bought my own damn tickets and if a spoilt brat like me can avoid asking for guest-list SO CAN YOU. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Seattle dance music events company specializing in high energy experiences around modern EDM and bass music. Sub Space Events is an experience-based project dedicated to providing a safe space for individuals to express their passions and talents freely. We promote a community of like-minded people coming together as one. Sub Space Events is geared towards learning, growing, and providing equal opportunities to all. Following is our companies “Bill of Rights” we promote and live by and prefer to work with people who strive to follow these same set of standards by creating a safe space in our music scene. We hope to slowly change the music environment, while setting a new standard of love, community, respect, boundaries, growth, and change.

Personal Bill of Rights

1) Give others the responsibility and space for their own beliefs, decisions, feelings, and thoughts; this promotes growing self-confidence and self-respect for all parties involved.

2) Seek situations, environments, and relationships that are healthy, prosperous, and nurturing.

3) Be spontaneous, play, and have fun!

4) Develop and grow at your own pace in the directions best for you. This does not mean to ignore other's similar rights or their well-meant counsel.

5) Periods of guilt-free rest, refreshment, reflection, and relaxation are necessary. These are as productive as times of work and action.

6) Nurture, love, and value yourself as much as others nurture, love, and value you. Being "Selfish" is “Self care” - as long as you don't hinder, minimize, or disrespect other's rights to care for themselves.

7) Choose the paths and goals you wish for your life while pursuing them without guilt, shame, or the need to explain or justify them to others.

8) Care for your body and Spirit lovingly and respectfully, in your own ways.

9) Choose your own limits and act on them as you see fit.

10) Be heard and clearly understood. Your thoughts, feelings, wants, needs, dreams, and dignity are as valid, worthy, and important as anyone else’s.

11) Define excellence in any situation and choose to strive for this standard.

12) Tell others respectfully what you expect of them, realizing they legitimately may or may not choose to fulfill these expectations.

13) Choose how and when to peacefully fill your spiritual needs, even if your choices conflict with others’ values or wishes. You do not have the right to force your spiritual or religious views, values, or practices on other people, nor do you grant others the right to force theirs on you.

14) Heal psychological wounds over time and replace unhealthy inner beliefs you have lived by with more nurturing and productive ones.

15) Have your physical, emotional, and spiritual privacy and boundaries respected by others. Accept your responsibility to respect theirs as well.

16) Ask (vs. demand) others how they feel about you, what they think about you, and what they need from you. They may choose to comply or not.

17) Decide if, when, and how to forgive (a) mistakes and (b) any hurts received from others. Affirm that forgiveness promotes healing, health, growth, and peace.

18) Work respectfully and peacefully to change laws, rules, or situations that are unjust or harmful to you and/or others.

19) Evolve and use the Bill of Personal Rights and learn how this affects you and others. Affirm others' equal right and opportunity to do the same or not.
