Some career highlights from 2023:
-Performed at amazing venues like The Magic Castle, Chicago Magic Lounge and Illusion Magic Lounge.
-Started performing on cruise ships. I did a Viking ship and a Virgin.
-Hired by Matthew Koma and Hilary Duff...twice.
-Hired to do magic at a billionaire's house, complete with a black van picking me up from 5 minutes away from the estate.
-Performed Handcrafted Mysteries in multiple venues, including its home, the Claremont Forum.
-Debuted a few original magic routines that have become real work-horse signature pieces.

I learned a lot this year. I have no idea what is next.
Winging it has gotten me pretty far, so I figure I'll just keep doing that. Happy new year.

It is becoming an annual tradition to do a show in Lake Havasu during the holidays.
My mom lives out there and this year I had no plans to do a show, but she told all her friends I was coming and it's hard to say no to an automatic packed house.
I had a blast as always. I brought my brother up for a trick with movies (he's a big movie buff).

"Handcrafted Mysteries" has been on hiatus for a little while, as I've pursued other opportunities. Through that show, I developed most of the magic that has taken me far in my career. I am very proud of what I made.

I've been getting booked for some really great private events. This week I am performing at The Magic Castle and in a few weeks I'll be doing shows on a luxury cruise ship. All with the tricks that I made for a bookstore.

I hope to bring the show back someday, but for now I'm excited to see what's ahead.

You can catch me doing magic with some friends at Lucky's Coffee on October 20th. More details on that soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Claremont Forum was unavailable tonight, so we took the show to my home church Granite Creek.

I am so glad that some of the ticket-buyers were willing to switch to the new venue on such late notice.

Update on my goal for the week: I now have 2 different live shows in the works. I've been working on a new version of Handcrafted Mysteries for a while and it is starting to come together (albeit slowly). But I also started the work on another short, experimental show. The plan is to do a short run and film it, like we did with Bonfire. It's almost ready...now we just need the world to be ready. #goingup
