In 2008, Kristin Rowan, then a college student studying early childhood education, accepted a position as a part-time office assistant for a home care education company. That position grew into an advertising sales position that increased income for the company by more than 300% in the first two years. Rowan realized a career in marketing was her future and she changed her major and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communication with a dual emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations. She later earned a Master of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Girard Marketing Group, named for Kristin’s late mother, is a passion project for her, fueled by the belief that small businesses deserve the same opportunities as larger corporations.
