Detail Obsessed 😍. .

I asked you guys want you wanted to see more of and way too many people said me on event days 😅 but a handful of you also want more BTS before the event showing how it all comes together. I’ll make sure we implement both requests for upcoming events but until then to see how my obsession with font and color selection comes together when details aren’t sourced from the same vendor!

Fun fact: I NEVER had a conversation with about this shower. I created an inspo board for my client to share with Tiff and as expected she NAILED IT. Daily reminder to hire vendors intentionally 🤍

The right details 🤍.
It’s the little things that made this celebration even greater. Perfect blend of venue inclusions and incorporating the right upgrades to make a true statement.

The rose wax seals are my favorite 😍

Pro Tip: We love the versatility that stationery provides. This tabletop element was created using an existing menu that we completely reimagined allowing us the benefit of upgraded foil and paper options without compromising our clients budget.

Loved the final result of this design. Alison wanted ILUMINATION, when asked how much candlelight she envisioned, her description was "I want our guests to feel like they might catch on fire".

Personally, I wasn’t ready for this spring summer heat wave but it’s all good, we’re that much closer to kicking off wedding season 😎

But really, are y’all ready?
Remember to tackle things one at a time and in order of priority. If your wedding is in less than 75 days, make sure you’re paying close attention to the following:

- T R I P L E Check the Floor Plan.

Have you confirmed your desired layout will physically work and finalized your layout? Are your venue inclusive tables wide enough for your planned details and design?

Failure to confirm this can result in unintentional design mistakes such as incorrect linen sizes, incorrect rental quantities, and cramped tables. Don’t forget to include linens and confirm table counts for misc. areas such as bar back tables and catering stations/buffets.

Begin this sooner than later even if you’re not sure of final count just yet.

BLE couples, don’t even bother. We’ve been on it 😉

3. Is the location photo-worthy? Do you care to add any enhancements?
4. Have you identified your personal details (jewelry, shoes, veil, hair clip, perfume, undergarments)?
5. Have you saved inspiration for bridal prep photos?
6. Do you have a confirmed plan for breakfast? lunch? (Be specific, pickup? By whom? From where? )

Items 3 & 6 are great items to delegate to the bridal party!

We’ve been quiet which really means we’ve been working 👀 , can’t wait to see Mrs. Meeks retirement celebration come to life on Sunday.

We met in February, after she called at random from a venues vendor list. I’m so glad our stars aligned, every interaction has been inspirational and filled with laughs.

Her event has evolved from a generic hotel banquet to a true reflection of how phenomenal she is, God did his big one with Mrs. Meeks and I can’t wait to celebrate and share her story.

P O P U L A R O P I N I O N. . .

Planning the wedding with your fiancé is an actual VIBE.

I appreciate when grooms play a role in the planning process. Not only does it allow me as a planner, to really get to know you both, but statistically - weddings that have active participation from the groom. . . are often dare I say it. . . better 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Weddings are not just for one partner, it’s an incredibly special day for you both. Being involved in planning, doesn’t mean you have to sit through every single planning meeting but does mean you take on tasks and communicate with your partner on tough decisions.

It’s a decision making game, and personally, I think partners who plan together help further lay the foundation of great communication within their marriage.

So let’s stop relying on one partner to do all the work, figure out how you both can play an active role!
